Just started tonight's episode. I took a break for a season because it started to get old and Carson was driving me crazy. We will see how long I stick it out this season.

Jordan Smith was unreal. That's one of the best auditions ever.

Jordan Smith's range was crazy! It will be interesting to see what songs he gets and what he can do with them.
The other shocker was the 15-year-old-girl-that-looks-10. She did a ridiculous job with "Fever".
The first guy's energy was great but his singing didn't really impress me.
The Sunshine kid wasn't bad, I think he suffered greatly from nerves. The rest was meh.

Just watching. Jordan Smith was damn strong. Range was something. Good sense of humor. Little Fever girl was cute with a lot of potential.
The Woolery guy was off. He could work on it but tonight wasn't his time.

Seven posts. Oh how the mighty have fallen. 
I gave up on the show last season, but may check out some of the blinds this season. I like that Gwen and Pharrell are back but this show is a chore for me now so I won't be here for the season.

Yeah, started watching again this season... there's not much else on Monday nights, and no Christina.
I enjoy the blind auditions part, and the live shows... it's the battle rounds and knock-out rounds that suck. Suck massively.
I do wish they would do more auditions where we can't see them until after a judge turns around... I like that.
Jordan was really good, but I don't see him as a winner. I'm not sure I see anyone from day 1 as an eventual winner... maybe the Arkansas guy, but even then I think he's a long-shot.

I guess my taste is different than most on here. That Sawyer kid that won last year was beyond AWFUL - I mean "shouldn't have gotten a single chair turn" awful - and most on here were all over him. So, what do I know?
And my wife and a laugh because every season Blake picks some young girl that sings with a jazzy style (code for: always off the beat) that couldn't hit the right pitch if was stapled to her vocal chords. We are waiting for his selection this season.

Barrett Baber is a really good dude, fwiw. been watching him play since college. He's consistently gotten better and better with age. He really works at it.

Alycia or Alicia or Alyssa, one of those variations. Perfect example of someone whom they spent too much time on the backstory making us want this person to succeed, only to have them suck.

Blind Joe was okay, but I was surprised by the 4 chair turn. Then, only Adam and Blake really fought for him. The other two didn't try. I think they decided they didn't want him after all.
I noticed these judges making even more "promises" of sorts in the blinds like they're going to keep them all until the finalists. Blake will end up with too many country singers and we'll see if he drops Blind Joe.
