Orlando was a bit weaker than I thought he would be and Ryan was dead on for the entire song. This shouldn't be a tough one.

Ryan has to be a front runner at this point. He's stupid good.
Blake's church song blew and so did Adan's Elvis choice. Stop fricking over your team members by picking stupid songs.
Also, I love how they hype usher's steal as happening tonight when it actually is tomorrow night. Nicely done, NBC.
Oh, and I want to dickslap Carson every time he says "I know this sucks for you, ____" or "I know this is a tough decision for you, _____." Seriously, can somebody just murder that dude (okay, okay, or just fire his stupid arse)?
Decent battles tonight I guess, but still nobody is really stealing the spotlight.

I'm getting annoyed by the judges saying what a tough choice it is and how they made a mistake pairing certain people. Don't do it. Pair up different people.

Not really. Their worst are still the best from the blind auditions. Might eliminate the need for the steal though. That's okay with me, too. The show moves too slow.

OK, after watching three nights of battle rounds wherein we get to see behind the scenes at how the coaches coach their team I've got to say, Usher SUCKS. So far I haven't heard him one piece of technical advice about how the talent can improve their technique. All he does is talk about stage presence, swagger, attitude, and style. That pencil with a skullcap on that's his guest pro is just as bad. These poor contestants aren't getting coached, they're being filled with a load of touchy/feely bullshite.

Meanwhile Adam, Blake, and even Shakira are giving their teams pointers on pitch, tone, technique, and other substantive things. I feel sorry for Usher's team, they are being sent in to battle with water guns and pretty flowers.

the battle rounds are the worst thing going. As good as the blind auditions are, the battle rounds are that bad.
