Well . . . they're expecting another child.
And the dude is still under contract with NBC/The Voice. Probably will make an appearance this season. Has a ton of offers and is being selective what with the growing family and all. Doing a lot of side gigs.

What kind of offers? Record companies? Is he restricted until the contract ends? Did he win last season? I've already forgotten who won.
