Wow. I thought Dez would be there longer with all those girls drooling over him.

I could have dealt with Dez a while longer. He's okay. He's just not great. America got it half right. I'm glad Trevin got to stay a week longer. Maybe Melanie will go next week. Are there two eliminations every week?

I'm glad Christina has noone left. Fine with me. Now, maybe she won't diss the other ones so much.

Amanda Brown did well...not her best, but I really liked her take on that Adele song.

Cody did REALLY well with Somebody to Love. That's not an easy song to sing, and he did great. Still not a huge fan of his, but I liked this more laid back performance way better than his over the top retardedness. Christina still wants his peen though.

Terry came with possibly his weakest performance to date. I appreciate he was trying to maybe go outside of his wheelhouse, but I don't think he did too great. Mainly due to the song choice IMO.

Melanie Martinez did a good job, but I feel like I've already seen her do this exact song before. That's not a good thing IMO...she sounds the same literally every week to me. I do think this is the best she's looked so far, not that that really means anything though. And good fricking job, Carson, making it more awkward keeping her personal shite on the air ("I hope whoever you are breaking up with is watching..."). Go frick yourself, countson Daly.

Christina back to not saying anything good about anybody other than her team.

I thought Dez was terrible. I felt like he was off the whole time and sang it pretty badly. I feel like this performance showcases the fact that if he didn't look like he did, he wouldn't still be on the show. CeeLo agrees with me. Adam does too. Blake too. None of them said anything about his singing...it was about him as a person. And now Christina is begging. Hahaa. What a stupid bitch (well, maybe not stupid because she knows she has to beg because he sucks, but I digress).

Trevin. I think I've said this before, but I'm getting tired of Trevin singing songs by women. I know his voice is kinda high, but come on. And I think he struggled a lot with the Whitney song. Worst he's sounded so far IMO. He seems to struggle unless he's just screaming as loud as he can (which he's great at).

Nicholas did a solid job, but I agree with Bill Withers that he seems to sing offbeat a little too much. I know that's kinda his thing, but it hurts his performances sometimes. His voice is awesome though. Blake's joke about him being blind was good shite.

CeeLo still never says anything relevant to the performance. It's still all philosophical.

Cassadee did really well. Never heard the song though, but I liked her performance. And she looked amazing.

Now onto the results show...

Forgot to post my predictions...based solely on performances from last night, I think the bottom half are Terry, Trevin, Melanie, and Dez. Of those, I hope it's Melanie and Dez going home.

Based on who I like, bottom four are Melanie, Dez, Cody, and Trevin...with Melanie and Dez still going home.

Cassadee - good call.

Damn you, NBC...I'm trying to FFWD through the results show as fast as possible, but you have the Muppets on and obviously I can't FFWD through that. Fozzy Bear cracks my shite up.

Amanda Brown = good call.
Melanie = BOOOO. But she did do well last night, I just don't like her.
Nicholas = good call.
Terry = good call.
Trevin = glad he stayed.

Glad Dez is finally gone...maybe now we won't have to hear Christina spew bullshite anymore. Cody did really well last night, and he can sing, but I didn't really like him either. So I'm cool with both of those leaving the show.

Hopefully next week it's Melanie or Trevin. I'd love to see a Cassadee/Terry/Nicholas/Amanda final four.

does anyone else think christina's blatant desperation plea for dez got him the boot? i really thought the tween girls would keep him further. her disrespect for other contestants and outright begging probably turned many off. don't really care how it happened though i'm just glad xtina has no contestants left

Nicholas is one weird and/or "affected" frick, BUT he has genuine talent. He's not my first choice, but he's very good.

Melanie is a cute, talented young girl who actually has an interesting offbeat take on the songs she performs. She's not the winner, but she deserves more than the crap she catches on this board.

Trevin has a tremendous voice and seems to be a nice guy, but he's not particularly unique.

Dez and Cody? Later, dudes.

Cassadee? She has talent, plus she's experienced. Not sure I'd vote for her as the winner. She reminds me too much of our au pair.

I'm partial towards Terry. Nice pipes, and a cool attitude. I'm sort of pleasantly surprised he's made it this far. I'd love it if he happened to win (not likely).

Xtina is such a dumbass pig who's allowed herself to go to seed. And she annoys the crap out of me.

CeeLo is funny, imo. I like him. Plus I've seen him sing live and he's great. Although, he has to take a break every few minutes.

Blake and Adam are milking this shite for PR points, but they're okay.

Agreed. I like him, but he's struggled lately. A lot. I said a week or two ago that he's fallen down and the field has caught up, and that continues to happen...to the point that I think he's been surpassed by almost everyone. He's talented, but VERY raw. And that's starting to show week in and week out now.

I don't even think he needs to change it up completely...just do something a little different than a classic rock greatest hits album. The country song was too big of a change IMO, and I hope it doesn't hurt him (although the coaches seemed to like it a lot). If he belts out a really awesome power ballad, I think it would be different enough to "change it up," but still be in his comfort zone enough for him to kill it.

Something like that. A song familiar enough to young people, but old enough to appeal to older people. And it's songs like that where he could really let loose and just shine vocally. You know those kinds of songs are straight in his wheelhouse.
