A couple of observations:
All of the workers were train wrecks. This chick was mid to late 20s with no car. She was either engaged or still married to some guy in Australia. She had moved back to the US when it didn't work out. She was a freak but trashy. She had some tattoos on her arms/forearms that wrapped between her thumb crease on both hands.
At that time, early 2013, she and other workers looked up to the owner as some kind of cult figure. I remember her being excited because the owner was trying to get some stupid show on Animal Planet or Discovery channel or whatever.

I don’t think people don’t believe this actually happened. We just can’t believe you are openly admitting to it.

Joe had herpes, and apparently Joe’s husband was banging every chick at the park. So yeah, definitely a situation where you should immediately get checked after hooking up with someone from there.

I'll come back when we finish it. I listed to the podcast, so I told my wife we should watch this. One episode in, and there were at least three times she had to look away, and y'all are saying this is just pre-crazy. But it is everything I imagined it would be so far. Carole Baskins always rubbed me the wrong way in the podcast, so it will be interesting to see it play out on screen.

Ryen Russillo talked about the show on his podcast. At the end he said he felt weird because he sympathized more with the guy ordering a hit than he did with the woman who was going to be taken out. I was thinking, “dude that’s how everyone who watched this feels”.

I’m positive Joe did some illegal shite and positive he’s talked about murdering and possibly looked into hiring someone to murder Carol.
I’m also pretty sure those three assholes completely set him up. I do not believe Joe would’ve hired Allen who he hated and who hated him to do it.
It seems very likely to me that when Jeff found out the fat dude was working with the Feds he hatched this whole plan and got Allen to agree to it bc Allen seems like he’s do anything Jeff wanted him to do

He’s the blocking out the Haters kid mixed with Kenny Powers but it’s all real life.

yeah I think that became fairly obvious when Jeff started randomly taping shite, then gives him an order to GTFO, but still enough time for Joe to hang around and sell off a bunch of cats.
