Not joking. I swear it's the truth. I refuse to watch the show because of how nasty I thought the place was.

The girl had a smoking body. The first time we hooked up, I drove 40 min to get her and then 40 min to go to bars and hang out. We stayed in a motel room. A couple of weeks later I drove to the place but didn't have much time so I busted one out in her mobile home she shared with other workers. Prior to doing the deed she walked me around the facility.

re: The Tiger King (Netflix Docuseries)
A couple of observations:

All of the workers were train wrecks. This chick was mid to late 20s with no car. She was either engaged or still married to some guy in Australia. She had moved back to the US when it didn't work out. She was a freak but trashy. She had some tattoos on her arms/forearms that wrapped between her thumb crease on both hands.

At that time, early 2013, she and other workers looked up to the owner as some kind of cult figure. I remember her being excited because the owner was trying to get some stupid show on Animal Planet or Discovery channel or whatever.

How did Jeff Lowe make all his money?

The Texas Monthly article mentions that he was once the manager for Robbie Knievel.

There is also this info about how he makes money:

quote:

In 2007 he was sued by the musician Prince for allegedly selling clothes with Prince’s trademarked symbol on them.

The next year, Lowe pleaded guilty to federal mail-fraud charges after he posed as an employee of a charity for domestic abuse victims to obtain $1 million worth of merchandise that he later resold.

A Daily Mirror article LINK says:

quote:

Jeff made his millions from owning a chain of discount retail stores in the south of the United States before going on to manage Evel and Robbie Knievel for a number of years and touring the world with the daredevil stuntmen.

One of the producers told EW that Jeff is running on fumes; the lack of customers due to coronavirus may finish him. This is in a March 21 article:

quote:

I got a very long text today from Jeff Lowes, who is running Joe’s old zoo. All I can tell you is that he is basically operating on fumes. No one is going now and there’s no source of income, and that's been going on for a long time. It's not something that has just happened because of what's happening in the world today.

But I think that it's very sad what’s happening to these animals. And it's anyone's guess as to what's going to happen to them. Some will be placed but I would suspect a lot of them will die from starvation, and probably be put down. And this is probably true for a lot of operations around the country right now that keep exotic animals, and even big zoos are struggling right now to keep their animals.

I don’t think people don’t believe this actually happened. We just can’t believe you are openly admitting to it.

Well yeah no shit

Yeah, I was watching it with my dad, and he said, “He doesn’t actually sound that bad. Music is actually decent.” I said, “Well yeah, cause he’s not remotely singing or playing the guitar.” Das felt hoodwinked. I do wonder if he wrote the lyrics—or at least some before the pros cleaned em up to match the melodies.

And Carole fricks her husband with a tiger strap on, no doubt.

I guess I need to watch the series and see how they portray the place and the people there.

Joe had herpes, and apparently Joe’s husband was banging every chick at the park. So yeah, definitely a situation where you should immediately get checked after hooking up with someone from there.

I believe all of this except this part

The girl had a smoking body

You mean a body of someone who is smoking meth? The chances the trashy, drug addicted, borderline insane chick you banged who worked at this park was attractive is less than 1%

Really? If it was one of Docs groomed ladies, they ALL had great bodies. Look up Moksha Bybee on IG

I'll come back when we finish it. I listed to the podcast, so I told my wife we should watch this. One episode in, and there were at least three times she had to look away, and y'all are saying this is just pre-crazy. But it is everything I imagined it would be so far. Carole Baskins always rubbed me the wrong way in the podcast, so it will be interesting to see it play out on screen.

re: The Tiger King (Netflix Docuseries)
Ryen Russillo talked about the show on his podcast. At the end he said he felt weird because he sympathized more with the guy ordering a hit than he did with the woman who was going to be taken out. I was thinking, “dude that’s how everyone who watched this feels”.

Great thing about Russillo is not many other people would come out publicly and say this is how they felt.

Docs ladies had houses

Joes people were living in gross arse trailers

So he’s talking about the latter. And my guess is she was much closer to “closing time at your local daiquiri shop” hot than actually hot

Ah- I stand corrected. Sorry
And yes- there's NO way I'd admit to that.

I loved this part.

Did I set him up? No.

Did I secretly record him without his knowledge and get him to confess to illegal things on tape that I could pass on to the FBI? Yes.

I’m positive Joe did some illegal shite and positive he’s talked about murdering and possibly looked into hiring someone to murder Carol.

I’m also pretty sure those three a-holes completely set him up. I do not believe Joe would’ve hired Allen who he hated and who hated him to do it.

It seems very likely to me that when Jeff found out the fat dude was working with the Feds he hatched this whole plan and got Allen to agree to it bc Allen seems like he’s do anything Jeff wanted him to do

I’m sure most of you have watched Tiger King by now, if you haven’t go do it because its a great way to get 7 hours closer to life being back to normal. I finished it last night and I can’t stop thinking about this scene in Episode 7. How did this come about? Who’s idea was it? I’d like to imagine it was James Garretson, the man on the Jetski’s idea. He had his one shot. His one chance to show the world just how fricking cool he is (even though he’s a snitch) and he chose this. The most badass clip ever. Gassing up the Sea-Doo and whipping it around the lake in slow-mo. Probably did like a dozen re-takes to make sure he got the mood just right. What does a documentary about the fricked up people that own Tigers need? More Jet-Skis. Mission accomplished.

He’s the blocking out the Haters kid mixed with Kenny Powers but it’s all real life.

quote:

PS

I love to imagine guys like this who own a single Jet-Ski having nothing else of material worth, but they have their Jet Ski. Live in a rental, have a beat up old car, behind on the bills, but none of that matters, because when the Yamaha Wave Runner is out on the Lake 10-15 times a year, he’s the King of the world.

yeah I think that became fairly obvious when Jeff started randomly taping shit, then gives him an order to GTFO, but still enough time for Joe to hang around and sell off a bunch of cats.

The jet ski scene is only trumped by the methed out hitman in his trailer bathtub with his shorts on for an extended interview.
