Anyone watched it yet?
Saw it last night. It was alright, but i thought the ending fell short of what i wanted to happen.
It had potential to be a really awesome movie. Guy that played David had some bad acting/writing moments, but for the most part i liked him. I think the writing is what lacks in this movie, not that i was expecting some well written film that would win an oscar. You had two guys in Shia and Lopez that just felt like you didn't get anywhere close to everything out of them that you could have.

Alexis had some great looking DSL's.

Terrible story, I never understood what the plot was, boring, overly violent, racist, Shia LaBeouf is terrible. Might be one of the worst movies of the year

Thought it had potential, but it fell drastically short.

I watched it. It was not good but not so bad that it deserved a 4 rating that it was getting. Thats reserved for all time bad movies.

Shia is just good in everything he does. I thought it was funny that they let 2 really bad actors (David and the wife) carry the movie while the legit, talented movie star just mosied around stealing all the scenes.

The acting from everyone not named shia was rough though.

It felt rushed to me. I kinda wish they had taken more time to develop the setting. Shia was good and it kinda felt like some of the scenes in the car were just him off the top of his head.
The final third of the movie felt like it was trying to hard.

I think people enjoy crapping on David Ayer-directed movies. Having not seen Fury, which is well-liked among my friends, I think this enjoyment is fair.

Fury is one of my all time favorite movies.

I wanted to like this one and like most have pointed out, the first 2/3 of the movie weren't bad, the final 1/3 was super predictable and the acting was subpar. I liked Shia's character and would have liked more details or backstory on him even though his "accent" transistioned back and forth from gringo to vato.

Watched this today. Well damn I wanted more out of it. Props to the trailer folks making it seem like he would be involved . Like that they got the blood from Training Day in on it but it was only an hour and a half so I’m good on it. Shame Shia really got those tats for this role. He really has lost it

Man this movie was a big letdown. The build up was great and I was really into the movie especially when they’re game planning and then the whole movie just went to shite. I would’ve taken the movie a whole different direction from there. Big missed opportunity.
