Saw it last night for the first time. Just a great, great, well written, movie. The cast and the acting were perfect.

Incredible how such a simple, ultra low budget film is so far superior to these $150 million cgi shite shows...it's actually pretty sad.

Movie for rejects who think weird equals good
No lasting value in it

The above quote brought to you by someone who thinks pretentious equals intelligent.

Saw it years ago when it came out, loved it.

The coffee guy was great.

Never envisioned Peter Dinklage would become a huge star at the time.

Amazing movie. Tom McCarthy is a very underrated director.

Didn't McCarthy do Spotlight too? Yeah, fantastic talent. He writes most all of his stuff too and made The Station Agent for $500,000. He deserves more pub.

I agree.

I've loved everything he's done.

I saw the Station Agent a couple months ago and immediately watched The Visitor the next day which is also great.

Win/Win is one of my favorites too

Shame Vinyl was cancelled. HBO is taking fewer chances. The Brink and Vinyl would absolutely have caught on in a second season. But, in both cases, I think expenses did them in, more so than raw viewership.

It was pretty good. I wouldn't call it great. I won't watch it again but I'm glad I watched it

Spotlight
The Station Agent
Win Win
The Visitor

All very good. I haven't seen The Cobbler, I've heard bad things.

Bobby Cannavale

He's one of the best, imo, at playing the comic relief in an otherwise dramatic film.

In Win/Win before Kyle's match he yells, "come on Kyle, take this punk out!" in the middle of a crowd of high school students and parents For some reason that made me lol so hard

Yes. It was mind-blowingly expensive and had terrible viewership.

Oh I understand. Just figured it would at least get another season.
