The Proposition (2005) Good Western !

The Proposition (2005) It's on Amazon Prime now. I thought it was really good. It's a western set in Australia in the late 1800's. Great story, & very violent (which is always good in a western !)

Always wanted to see that, heard it was good. I'll have to check it out now since its on Amazon.

It's one of the best westerns I've seen. Extremely violent but very well acted with an intelligent script. The scene where they come into town dressed as policemen/soldiers and brutally torture and murder the hapless guards is one of the most chilling scenes in a movie I've ever seen. John Hurt was really good too in his supporting role.

This morning I stumbled across several Blu-ray movies I bought years ago from a discount rack. The Proposition was one.
I don’t know why I bought the movie because I swear I’ve never heard of it. I did a quick search of the movie, saw it had good reviews, and planned to watch it later tonight.
Crazy odds a thread was started here on it the same day.

Guy Pearce is one of the most underrated actors out there. Great movie.

He was really good in Memento...great movie. That's one of those movies that are better the 2nd viewing, or, I just may be slow.
