According to a link posted on the last page, Colin said he only has 5-6 scenes in The Batman 2, which is pretty surprising. But he also said he hasn't seen a script so he doesn't know.
I just assumed he'd be the main villain in part 2 but it looks like it's more likely he has a bigger role in part 3. Part 2 isn't until 2026, it kind of sucks that you have to go four years in between films. But glad we got this show in the middle.

Well Batman ended w Joker and Riddler laughing in their cells. I'd assumed Joker would be next before this series popped up. Now its either both Joker and Penguin or a mix of the universe.
And what a series by HBO...enjoyed that!

I wonder why they went away from that? Or, did they not necessarily go away from it, they just didn't want to introduce the Scarecrow yet?

I kinda thought he was Scarecrow, but I guess I'm mixing up my Batman movies.

I don't think Oz planned to kill him but when he said you are like family that put wheels into motion inside Oz because he couldn't have another situation like with his mom where someone captured him (Vic) and used him against him.

Pretty dark ending that raised some questions. What was in that letter that Sophia gets? Will there be a season 2? Who is the villain in Batman 2? Will Penguin just be a side character again?

Colin said he's been told he'll have 5 or 6 scenes in the next one. I think he'll be a player in entire trilogy, similar to Cillian Murphy for Nolan. Just with a bit more screen time.

They'd be crazy to not bring Sofia back. I can see the Catwoman angle coming in. Kravitz doesn't have the current heavy working schedule that Barry Keoghan (Joker) has.

I agree. I am more interested in seeing more Sophia than I am in seeing more Catwoman. This Penguin series was brilliant. MCU is getting very stale and will have a clunker (Captain America BNW) and an underachiver (Thunderbolts) coming out while I am now excited for The Batman II.

I actually think Thunderbolts looks fun. There were rumors that the capt America movie had another test screening that went bad, so that one could be rough for Marvel.

I agree 100%, but I believe that the ensemble of secondary characters rather than a big name superhero will cause it to underachieve.
