Nobody's melting just telling you it was fricking rude. Doesn't matter what time of day it was, you were in a theater, you weren't alone, you were on your phone. You're a rude piece of shite, accept it.
You are simply wrong. What I did was not rude to anyone. I am not sure why that is difficult to grasp

Nope. You are factually wrong. People assumed I was on my phone in a full theater causing people to be distracted by the light on my phone. Which wasnt the case. But instead of just accepting that, they are mad that I didnt like the movie so they are going for personal attacks

It is strange

No, it is rude regardless if it is packed or if there are 10 people in there. The light is still a distraction and it is rude, factually.

That is such bullshite Not a single person in the theater had a clue I was on my phone. There is no need to even discuss it. Just accept you and others were wrong

You know this as a fact?

If a single one of them was anywhere behind you or on the same row, it is so easy to see a phone on in a theater. Don't even kid yourself.

Which row was I in? Where were the other people in the theater?

ETA: There was approximately 10 people in the theater, theater 7 at Elmwood to be exact. All other groups were a parent with multiple kids as they were out for school. I was higher than the rest by approximately 20 rows.

So tell me again, how you know it was rude

You're the one that made the claim that not a single one of them saw your phone light. You are welcome to clarify how in a dark theater, not a single one of them was able to see the light.

Doesn't matter. They tell you to turn your phone off for a reason, that reason is because it's rude not to. That's a fact.

I have no idea how you possibly thought you knew more than me, the person who was actually in the theater

I never once assumed this. You made a claim that nobody in the theater saw your light. You are the one that assumes that as fact. I questioned how. Sorry you're being called out for being rude to other viewers, but you are.

If the only argument you have that it wasn't rude is because "nobody saw it", you were still doing something rude.

That's what you really meant. And it's why you keep replying to everyone who says otherwise. You're trying really hard to convince yourself that you're not a piece of shite.
My only gripe with the current Star Wars storylines is that Rogue One makes it the 3rd movie where the final act involves a small team disabling a shield while a massive space battle goes on overhead.
Well, the exact opposite happened in this movie. The "big space battle" was eventually what disabled the shield, so that the small infiltration unit could transmit the data.

Would it have been rude if they had seen it? (assuming you know for a fact that they didn't)
