If the series does continue and Frieza does become some all powerful villain (again) then I could see the likes of all the angels and surviving universes (in case of a tie) battling him and trying to find a way to bring him down.
It would be one truly epic war and the tournament (easily the most impressive and massive event ever seen on the series) would have essentially served as only a set up piece in a far larger narrative.
I could even see them gathering the Super dragon balls again to wish back all the destroyed universes for help, especially to get their GoDs back for the fight.
Just imagine the Grand Priest and angels and Beerus and Jiren and Goku all fighting on the same team

Toei Animation Confirms 'Dragon Ball Super' Will Continue
I assumed the probably would continue it, but a lack of information made me a bit worried they'd end it. This multi-verse stuff gives them an insane amount of content to roll with. My one request is that they stop making everything about big big power and try to make the challenges and conflicts more tactical than raw power.

No way they would end it.

I agree, too much money, but there was a big portion of folks who thought it was ending permanently.

I really hope they bring Universe Six back seeing an entire planet of sayians would be great
Actually with this movie being about the Sayians and it taking place after Super it's probably a good bet we get to see them again

SPOILERS
I've seen the spoilers and can't say I'm too thrilled. Though, there is a lot of interpretation of what was "revealed." If Goku has MUI then shouldn't he be able to use instant transmission instinctively if he gets knocked off the arena? Also, Freeza getting the death beam to the back of Jiren to win it all, well hell, I don't know what to think.

Regardless of the spoilers, I believe I have watched the second half of the last episode at least half a dozen times; that was badass.

Another fantastic episode and great animation. Well everything was great until the last 2 minutes

Sounds like some spoilers were completely wrong. Great episode though, animation is on point and I guess I figured 17 would pop up again somewhere. I'm surprised everyone forgot about frieza too.

The 17 thing completely caught me off guard....just incredible how they've used him in the tournament. Unbeleivebale episode, maybe the best fright ever in the show.

Just watched it. Jiren seemed like such a POS throughout until he finally admitted Goku was better than him. I was also surprised Zeno or the Grand Priest didn't say anything when Jiren tried to kill Goku's friends.
This episode was definitely reminiscent of the fight between Goku and Freeza.
3 v 1 with a now depowered Goku. It's going to be really interesting to see how it ends.

In Mexico they advertised the fight like it was a Vegas boxing match or something, then many local governments said they woukd pirate stream the fight live in shopping malls public places and stadiums.... Insane...and Toei got pissed.

The animation last night was out-friggin-standing. These last 2 episodes deserve that kind of treatment, and that at least got it. The short sequence after Jiren tried to blow up the audience was incredibly well done.
I am so glad the spoilers were wrong, at least in English. It definitely seems like there were a few things lost in translation. Goku was knocked off by a Jiren blast, Jiren appeared to win, and Freiza did fire a beam...etc. Just didn't get the context right apparently. Either that, or Toei was intentionally misleading to hide the true ending. Which might actually be the case, because the end preview for 131 has Goku say "Did I lose? No, the fight's not over yet."
I wonder what their "final ace in the hole is". Maybe the destruction energy Freiza gained control of from Universe 9's GoD?
Or maybe Goku knows the entire tournament is a sham that he, the priest, and the Zeno's put together, which is why there is a no killing policy. Because why does killing matter otherwise? Goku might have known he was getting close to unleashing Ultra Instinct, and just needed a huge fight against monster level opponents to bring it out. He isn't normally the type to be unconcerned that powerful opponents will be gone, and so far he hasn't seemed to care in the slightest that he would lose fighters like Hit, Jiren, and Toppo as potential future opponents/sparring partners. He has basically tried to reason with every single strong opponent he has faced over the history of Dragonball, to turn them to good, so he could fight them again in the future.

I think a lot of people are confusing the episode 131 spoilers for what happened in episode 130. I think they are completely separate because episode 131 spoilers are very specific and none of it happened in episode 130.

Couldn’t agree more, and the last episode with Roshi, Piccolo and others saying the same; it pretty much solidified that.

Guys, I don't normally share Facebook memes.. and I won't post the picture.. but I laughed when I read it.
If Goku was in the Avengers, he would give Thanos the infinity stones just to see how powerful he would get.
