I liked episode 108 a lot, but why is Goku having such a hard time fighting that fat floppy frick with her bullshite attacks. Why doesn't he just transform and knock her arse out?

Because Dragonball.
The shots this week with Goku were nothing more than even more filler in filler episodes.
I had watched a video where someone tried to show what the tournament would look like in real time and multiple characters were apparently in multiple places fighting different people at the same time.
It is clear they did not plan this out and I really feel like they are just making it up as they go with no clear plan. This will end just like the Goku Black saga. Awesome until they wrote themselves into a corner and just bs'ed the end.

In real time Goku has only been fighting Ribrienne for about 2 minutes.
Apparently the Goku fight, Gohan/Frieza fight, and Vegeta/Roshi fight all happened at about the same time.
So there are still 29 minutes left...

I Was originally against having Frieza in tbe tournament instead of Buu, but now -- especially in the Japanese version-- Frieza has become a pretty great character.
Also just read that the 1hr episode (109-110) doesn't air until 2 weeks.
Damn... I was looking forward to finally seeing the Jiren fight. I've seen speculation that Roshi, tien, and Krillin might possibly get erased in the special leading to Goku's new form. Because he gets so pissed. Who knows but it would possibly make sense.

I absolutely hate that the Limit Break form leaked early.
How much more intense would that fight have been if we didn't know Goku had a new form?
I mean shite, you would think Goku actually died there.
I was really hoping Gohan was going to go apeshit and rage out against Jiren.

Holy shite.............I don't know what I just witnessed. The music, the animation, the fricking battle, the gods freaking out....it was all incredible.
Anybody who has been hating on Jiren for being overhyped should worry no longer. He's on every of the coolest characters in dragon ball history. The fact that his god of destruction is apparently even scared of him is so badass.
And it seems Jiren was never even really powered up until the very very end when he had the red aura. I can't wait to see where this story goes now...if anything, the gods and mortals possibly fighting alongside one another or against each other has really come into play now. I could also see Ultra Goku and Jiren fighting alongside one another too.

Quitela not being scared somewhat shocked me.
This is going to be an amazing arc, for the first time in the series we find a guy that goku truly can't beat, even with plot armor he was barely neck and neck.

His universe has 2 hidden warriors who have been stated to have self destruction abilities on their official bio's. There is a theory going around that they will blow up the stage near the very end and see everyone drop
