What a fumble by Warner Bros losing Nolan.

Are they blocking positive reviews too?
Nobody knows what reviews they are blocking. First it was they were requiring a 1,000 word essay to leave a review, and to prove that he posts a screenshot that shows you only have to write a *checks notes* EIGHT word review
It’s monitored but nobody on here knows what they are blocking. They could be blocking some but also despite what a handful of people on here want it can also just be another highly rated Nolan movie.

review bombing
Who has the means and motivation to set up bots or groups of people to go to a website en masse to leave one sided reviews?
Studios who want to promote and bolster their series or movie?
Or random individual movie fans?
Hmmm....

Want to go look at your posts in the Page is Achilles thread or maybe the Helen one?

Saw it today, I laughed at parts particularly Ellen Page as she looked so out of place. Also the black chick as Helen, overall it is a popcorn flick and if you have read The Odyssey you can 100% tell they took many liberties with the movie. A lot doesn't follow where Homer wanted, Anne Hathaway's character is different from the story as well.
Really it is a movie that I would watch once on TV and probably forget about but I saw a matinee so it was only 8 bucks. It wasn't great so I don't understand the 96% but it also wasn't horrible. I would say 6/10 being that it is watchable but not memorable, it isn't some great movie that keeps to staring at the screen.

Yea I know. Never said you weren’t mistaken.

Sure? Not sure what that would prove. I hated and still do hate both castings.

You were all over team it’s a fake hoax. What is your point then?
You know this is under community watch which means they’re censoring the reviews. It’s obvious

Helen casting was confirmed early on and I immediately said that was dumb and still feel that way.
I said there’s no way I was believing a random twitter rumor that Ellen Paige was Achilles. And what do you know, the random twitter rumor was wrong.
So what’s your point?

I literally said it’s under community and they could be blocking reviews in the comment you responded to

My point is you’re downplaying the review censorship because you have an agenda, clearly.
Rather than engage the “community watch” aspect you chose to attack my post by pointing out the mistake I made regarding details of the community watch that I admitted immediately

What is my agenda? I watched the movie and gave a review and don’t care if this is 50% on RT or 100% because I don’t base my opinions of movies based on RT. Just like you with Masters of the Universe, this could be %70 on there and it wouldn’t affect how I view it one bit. But a very highly rated Nolan movie is nothing new.

That comment was in regards to fatkid who even after you admitted it was a mistake and someone else pointed out it was eight words they still said it was 1000 words.

You can keep saying that but it doesn't make it true
Posted on 7/17/26 at 6:11 pm to NighthawkDawg
The problem for is that it is true. There’s zero data to prove it and the logic isn’t even there when all you have to do is point out the mirror to it to, which there’s actually data for, to disprove it.

Someone in here (probably this guy) is downvoting every post that includes negative opinions about the movie. I don't get it. Even if it's the best film on planet earth, someone out there isn't going to like it.
There is some MFer out there that left Paddington 2 with a negative review. Some people are just miserable curmudgeons.

Their counter to facts or logic is always propaganda and an appeal to authority based argument.

It's not when the majority of bad reviews on a site that doesn't verify its audience rating like IMDb and Meta is littered with zero stars bitching about shite that not in the movie or whining about woke. While sites that require verified fan reviews has a car stronger rating it's pretty damn obvious that once again the anti woke crowd falls flat on their face
Posted on 7/17/26 at 6:31 pm to NighthawkDawg
Thanks for disproving your argument for me. Couldn’t have given a better example.
Posted on 7/17/26 at 6:45 pm to Madking
Kudos for conservatives like Ben Shapiro and Michael Knowles going into the movie with an open mind. Both of them came out liking it.
