One of the strangest shows of all time.

I just sat there when the final episode of season 1 aired dumbfounded.

“What in the frick just happened here?”

I may be in the minority on this one but I loved season 1. For me it was a solid 9. I liked the ending.
Season 2 got really weird, but the end of that one was an 11 out of 10.

It’s not satisfying at all.

And as already mentioned… you aren’t ready for the end. No matter what you think.

After seeing how season 1 ended, and knowing how many good shows Netflix abruptly cancels, it blows my mind how a second season was greenlit.

I can't even remember if the rest of season 1 was any good or if the major plot points were even interesting. My only memory of the show is that final sequence because of the absurdity of it all.

Love season one despite the ending. Season two was out there. Way out there.

I enjoyed it. It’s an interesting concept. I think what I liked though was that the acting was surprisingly good. After two seasons I empathized with some of the characters, which is what makes a good show. When it can make you care what happens. I liked the aspect that these people knew there was “something” more out there, but they couldn’t put their finger on it. Couldn’t capture it, until OA started to shed light on things.

The OP had not gotten to the ending yet, which is why everyone avoided any concrete reference to the actual ending of either season.

The OC was an early 2000s teen/young adult drama akin to Beverly Hills 90210.

I normally consider myself "reasonably" intelligent but I have 3 episodes left and I am as damn lost as last years Easter egg. I am going to go to the end but I have no idea what is happening at this point.

A little bit to my credit. I get interrupted constantly trying to watch this show....so I am going to blame some of my confusion on that. I don't think this is a show that can afford interruption.

So I finished it, and still have no idea WTF happened.

I could not keep up. IMO, don't waste your time on this one. The writers had to have been tripping balls when they wrote season 2.

Yeah...let's do a synchronized swimming routine, without the water in the midst of a school shooting. I am big mad at this show. There was a terrific initial concept and they just went off the rails.
