The OA Season 2

So The OA Season 2 was just released. I haven't started it yet but I'll eventually get to it.
I was ultimately a bit disappointed in Season 1, so I'm not totally enthused about starting Season 2. But I'd love to get some (non-spoiler) reviews to get psyched up for the new episodes.

I probably should have watched the last couple of episodes from last season again just to refresh my memory of what all went down.
If you didn’t like how the last season ended you may like how they are handling season 2. Watched first three episodes and it took a little head scratching to figure out where they were going but by the third episode they really started to pull it all together. Ties in well with last season. Excited to watch how this season plays out.

Correct, I wasn't happy with the end of last season, but yeah I need to review the last couple of episodes as well before starting the new season. And it's good to know that if I'm not digging the first couple of episodes that it will all start coming together.

I thought the show could have been cool but then they decided to go with interpretive dance links you to cosmic forces for rebirth or some weird stuff kinda theme that left me just shaking my head.

Season one was weird in its own way, but I’m enjoying season 2 much more so far. Only 4 episodes in. Glad they decided to go with a more concrete foundation to the reality being explored in the show. Brit marling has always done pretty good stuff I remember liking Another Earth when it came out

Really enjoyed the first season all the way up to the interpretive dance ending. I’ll give season two a look.

No kidding, I am through like episode 6, this show went well beyond the weird shite of last season. I can't even decide if I like the show or not, but I can't stop watching to see where they are taking this crazy shite.

It was such a great pilot that was followed up with the dumbest finale I've ever seen. Not a chance I'm giving the 2nd season a shot.

Big robots do it later in the season, the season finale of this season is almost as bad as the dance.

this is one of my all time favorite shows to hate watch. surprisingly though, i've actually kind of enjoyed this season. well, i've enjoyed the kareem san francisco dimension of the story. the season 1 high school and phyllis crew are all fricking terrible.
ETA: damnit. It’s episode 4 that has the laugh out loud ridiculous moment happen, not ep. 3. Apologies.

They almost lost me with the the giant squid mind melt scene (no, seriously). But, Kareem saved the day with a giant kitchen knife (no, for fricking real).
What I really don't get is why they had Alfonso pick some dude up on Grinder and get it on. Added nothing to the story and felt like it was strictly to add some gayness to the story (yes, they really did this). I fast forwarded through that scene.
