Great acting and production in this movie. But yeah, I avoided watching it for a long time after hearing about the plot, and had the same reaction as you. The lead character seems like a real POS yet the ladies love her.

A ton of people put waaaaay too much thought into an adaptation of a Sparks novel. There is some seriously incel shite in this thread.

Women like dramatic, unrealistic love stories where they can cry at the end. Surprise!!!
