I've watched 5 or 6 episodes of this shite and didn't laugh once.
Boring, childish humor as far as I can tell.

Huge IASIP fun. I'm about to finish season 9 on Netflix and will probably start the series over again.
The characters are definitely Seinfeld-esque on steroids. Dennis = Jerry. Mac = George. Frank = Kramer. Dee = Elaine. Charlie = Kramer/George mix.
But instead of being successful, rather intelligent New Yorkers, they're bar-trash Philadelphians. And they capture that culture perfectly. Eagles fans are prone to booing Santa Claus and shite-talking their own players as they practice. The Gang are definitely assholes in that vein.
What's most impressive about this show is that it features possibly the only female I would say is genuinely laugh-out-loud funny. Elaine was great in Seinfeld too, but Dee is one of my favorite characters of all time.

IASIP is THE funniest show on tv. Of course there are some episodes that aren't as good but I've never laughed out loud so much compared to any other show. When it's great it's great and they don't hold back against any topic. Frank is the best and also the guest appearances by past characters all the time. I like plenty of other comedies but this I think is the best.

Curb is awesome. I like Sunny but sein and curb are way at the top IMO

You have to be joking.

Huge IASIP fan. Most underrated comedy out there.
That said, season 9 was bad and season 10 only had a few good episodes.

I just started binging this show. It's hilarious, but man they are the worst people ever. Kidnapping, drug abusers, thieves and all, but it's so entertaining.

(RIP, Mulaney
Mulaney was an awful show. It was like they tried to pick up right in the middle of season 3 in the pilot.

This board loves John Mulaney so much that they were biased to start that show. Everything I saw of it was a normal terrible sitcom fodder

I think Dee is pretty hilarious. Even funnier how the gang treats her

I saw 'Gun Fever' the night it originally aired and have been hooked ever since. Great show. One of my top 5 all time comedies.

I lose track of the season count, but if 10 was the most recent, it may have had my top episode of all (which is tough because there are many great ones). The episode where Charlie is trying to keep the bar standing while the inspector walks through is a perfect episode IMO.

I think that Seinfeld has attained a mythic status that most folks can't overcome when it's compared to other shows. i like IASIP because I can identify best with those characters and the social malaise that the show deals with. I like Seinfeld as well but i don't feel the same connection
THIS. I love Seinfeld but I don't really identify with that era like I do IASIP. There have been a couple so-so seasons, but I still feel the show is going strong. I loved the last two seasons.

Man, I feel Sunny is much more like Taxi than Seinfeld. Though that could be the presence of Danny DeVito.

shite, Larry David really is George Costanza. And you realize how much Seinfeld dropped off once he left the show.
Without a doubt IMO.
But some people love those last three seasons more than anything else. I loved the earlier stuff.
