I never cease to be amazed at the power that the right cedes to the "liberal media". As if people can't think for themselves.
It's because they can't. There's a sizable that believe everything they see on tv. Lots of people watch this show and believe Will Macavoy is infallible. Trust me, people are dumber than you give them credit for.

I was being factitious because most people are able to comprehend the difference between a fictional show and a factual portrayal. The ones who can't are probably not spending their time at the polls in November either.
The threat that it could be influencing people negatively because someone is gullible is a silly criticism and should be called as such.

Then that's not Sorkin's problem or HBO's problem and isn't a valid criticism because you're sensationalizing the situation.
I have yet to meet someone who takes the show so seriously that it influences their political stance. So I think you're just making up some BS to further pad your criticism of the show (that I still can't figure out why you're watching if you hate it so much).

This.
People who are that easily influenced by a fictitious newsroom dramedy won't be watching this show in the first place. Jeez.

I was oky with the show until a whole episode was devoted to Obama's bin Laden announcement.
After I saw the paige stand up in heavenly awe at Obama while putting on a FDNY cap and was stunned at how political it was.
It was a "triumph of the will" propaganda piece.
Enough said.

What the frick is wrong with you?
No a New York citizen wouldn't stand in amazement and pride at the president of the United States making the announcement that we killed the son of a bitch who attacked this country and more specifically his city.
You are completely right.... That scene right there betrayed the political lining that has been so thinly veiled the whole season.

Bin Laden episode was the only episode that wasn't completely manipulative. Thought it was really good tv.

I didn't agree with the political tones of the episode.
It's an important, and impressive thing we got ubl, im glad we did.
But to have the pilot walk out and be given the news before showing people staring in awe was over the top Imo.
I think it was so over the top I wanted an ippecac.

As it should. It was kind of a big deal.

Heavenly awe at Obama? I took it as it was out of respect for the people that lost their lives on 9/11 and recognition of the event and not the President.

While I agree the show is left leaning, I didn't see that episode as any kind of propaganda piece. It was heavy on character development and delved into some very real concerns people had about what the news could be at that time of night. But I certainly didn't see any Obama sunshine pumping.

If you didn't stare in awe when the official news that we got OBL (you spell Osama with an O btw) then I have no idea what to tell you. Of all the things you could have possibly complained about and you picked THE MOST NEUTRAL EPISODE THAT HAS AIRED YET.

I felt the show did it poorly, agree to disagree.
ubl raid was a great thing, I'd rather not see it both commercialized and put into highly political fiction.
Cotton, those all caps really make your point.
Also I clapped and cheered, I was driving home so I couldn't stand.

I just wish they wouldn't make all those shuttle pokes at Republicans
"I'm Rebublican, people just think I'm Liberal because I think Hurricanes are caused by global warming and not gay marriage" I mean c'mon, that's insulting to conservatives. I still really like the show and it won't stop me from watching, but crap like that does get annoying

Well, if some of the Repulitards would just STFU in public they wouldn't make such easy comedic targets.

Please.....there's plenty of material for Dems too but they don't use it.
I enjoy the show, but the slant is obvious. And operating under the guise that I'm a republican news show host to make fun isn't fooling anyone.
