He is 100% correct that they can't exist without government help
Hell, corporations can't exist without governments.
But the theoretical concept of a potential benign monopoly. . .Well, the coal miners in the early 1900's would call bullshite on all of that. They attacked a city over it. Justified uprising put down by. . .you guessed it, the government.
Mother Jones showed up and even SHE managed to shill for the companies. Because she was a two-faced opportunist and an attention whore (Think Al Sharpton).

I am right wing AF (like really, I temper my more harsh opinions on this board) and if you know anything about Orwell, he is not pro-capitalist.
I appreciate his takes on a lot of the communist problems of the 20th century…
But he was very very democratic socialist and that was clear throughout his writings.
People that don’t realize a lot of Bernie Bros turned around and voted for Trump are missing a huge portion of the political spectrum.

But these monopolies aren't existing because of mass government control they're existing because government allows them to exist. As much as people like to complain about giving the government too much control (justified in some instances) a lot like to pretend that these corporations are benevolent in nature and won't just crush small businesses and frick their employees or customers over as long as there's profit to it.
