The Quack Attack is back Jack!

Looks pretty good. Hope some of the old ducks make appearances.

We all hate how hollywood keeps recycling shows and movies, but clearly it works otherwise we'd be getting a lot of other stuff.

That being said I cannot deal with the combo of 90s-00s nostaliga with 2020's agenda shoving. I am not saying I don't think a woman can coach hockey blah blah blah. All I am saying is that when I watch anything Mighty Ducks, I am looking for throwback nostalgia feels. NOT current times polictical agenda pushing in my face. If I wanted that, I'd just turn on CNN.

Will give it a try only because EMILLLLLIIIIOOOOOO is in it, but they better have something great that the trailer isn't showing to keep me watching.

ETA: Lauren Graham could still get it from me despite her age catching up to her . She had that something something in Bad Santa

People be lying. There was a time when grown men on here were anxiously awaiting watching Fuller House and Girl Meets World.

I am 50/50 on agreement with you. I think there's a lot of us on here who don't mind the remakes for the sake of nostalgia. The problem is the way the shows/movies are presented and written. It's completely different than what we watched.

Using GMW as an example, I rewatched the OG Boy Meets World series last year and the small jokes written in for any given situation would not fly today. Examples would be the nerd jokes with Minkus (bullying today) and the jokes between the guys and girls (sexist, feminist today). Accounting for those issues in today's social environment really changes the direction of the show in a way we are not wanting to see.

This is just my opinion though. I am not here to say the shows are good or bad. For me, the shows just can't match what they are trying to bring back.

You're acting like D2 didn't totally make the female teacher the head coach for a game and then the assistant coach after that.

Yeah it's little league hockey so it's not far fetched that a mom could coach it. I mean, there were girls on the team in all the movies, which is just as agenda driven as the mom being the coach. Also a huge storyline in D3 was Dan Snyder triggering and Eden Hall was just named the Warriors.

This looks like it was.... not done with the love of Cobra Kai.

Bombay looks jaded AF, again, and I guess guess up being a lawyer again?

Where’s Coach Orion?

No Charlie? No Julie the Cat? Nah.

Probably because the Mighty Ducks have turned into the Hawks.

One thing that bothers me about movies and shows is when they get lazy with the bullies. For instance, in Shazam they have them beat the shite out of the disabled kid while everyone watched. Maybe I'm naive, but that would never happen.

The line the guy from Letterkenny says about not even playing if you're not great just seemed so over the top and ridiculous. Maybe it'll fit in the show, but it came off as a really exaggerated thing a coach would say.
