It started with The Lincoln Lawyer, continued with Mud and Dallas Buyers Club. Then he topped it off with True Detective.

Free State of Jones was ok, but he has been mostly a dud ever since. It is unfortunate.

What about all those romantic comedies. Dude was getting paid and could have any poon he wanted for about 10 years. Plus you missed his most important role.

I started watching it but got sidetracked. I'll give it a watch.

if that is/was his peak he has had a DAMN impressive run. It's crazy to me because I like him more now then I did back in the day. And I am hopeful that he continue to be offered good roles in upcoming projects be it the big screen or small.

He has a promising movie coming out in September called Serenity. Director is the creator of Peaky Blinders and Taboo and also directed Locke. Also stars Anne Hathaway, Jason Clarke, Diane Lane, and Djimon Hounsou.

The cool thing about McConaughey, he does not really care. One laid back guy and is set for life.

yes this. Even though he is an A lister, in all of his interviews he seems to be grounded and a regular guy.

Not to mention he was just in The Dark Tower, which I'm sure he thought was going to be a much bigger hit than it was.

He did get to be really hot for a little. Enough that he was familiar to older family members instead of just Rom Com fans or fans of Dazed and Confused.

When he did the car commercial that Jim Carrey parodied that was kind of enjoyable. The parody that is.
