They definitely made it seem like Bo was killed at first, but then you just see her standing with the rest watching Luke leave with Grogu.

had to do a rewatch myself, I was so caught up in everything else at that point.

That’s awesome. Got to share the moment with my 6 year old before school.

I thought it was the other girl at first

This felt like a send off episode for Grogu. I don't think we'll see Luke again either.
Maybe we won't see him for a while but I seriously doubt Favreau would have written the line "I'll see you again. I promise" if they don't actually see each other again.

I may rain downvotes on myself with this statement but here it goes...I’m very meh on a Boba series.
I mean what are they fundamentally going to do different than what we’ve seen on this show?
He’s going to take bounty jobs, go kill some creatures, deal with traitorous scumbags, and kill them all in spectacular fashion....everything we get in the Mandalorian. I’m going to watch it regardless, but if I had a preference they’d be firing up a show on somebody else next December instead of Boba.
That said, The Mandalorian is the best Star Wars content since 1980. This is what we’ve deserved and Filoni and Favreau have delivered.

It’s be interesting to see someone who wants to rule, Boba with the Hutt criminal empire, and someone who doesn’t, Din and Mandalore.

I just went back and rewatched the Luke scene and originally it felt like ages from when we see the X-Wing land and we see the green saber, I was surprised to find out it was actually like a minute and 14 seconds from x-wing to saber, and only 19 seconds from when we saw hooded Luke walking down the hallway to saber lol

Anyone else notice the look of sheer terror on Gideon's face when he saw Luke laying waste to his dark troopers?

Luke was the thing of nightmares for Imps.

That episode was AWESOME! I kept wondering which Jedi was going to show up and the moment I saw that black glove from a distance, I knew it was Luke. Loved seeing R2 again and the scene at the end of the credits was great. Too bad we have to wait another year for season 3.
Also didnt know at the time of watching last season, that Hamill had a voice cameo in another episode. Hamill voiced the bartender droid on Tatooine in season 1, episode 5.

I just finished Mandalorian and it was great. I have never seen any of the Star Wars movies (I know, I know), but I'm going to start tonight. I'm pumped.
What order should I watch them in?

Start with the 3 originals and then go back and watch the new ones, which suck, in sequence.

I don't know if Bo Katan would react well at the knowledge of who Luke was. She remembers his father as a hothead whose master got her sister killed.

I mean, she’s cool with Ahsoka

Does she know about Vader/Anakin and his relationship to Luke?

I'm kinda in the same boat. My whole life I've been very meh on Boba. He didn't do a damn thing in the original series....nothing. There's no disputing that either even though I've had the argument many many times. He was only popular because he looked cool. His appearance in this series obviously turned the tide on that with turning him into this overpowered badass. I'm not complaining, I was actually happy to see him finally do anything worth talking or getting excited about. That being said I'm enjoying Din's story and not very pumped about seeing it put on hold. Is next year solely focused on Boba?

Me when I saw the X-Wing: Oh shite, is that who I think it is?
Me when I saw the glove: *full on squeal* OMG ITS HIM.
That finale was amazing.
