Just finished it, I thought it was a good show. Should have another season.

I'm catching up and watching season 1 before part 1 of season 2 comes out in early July. I'm impressed after a couple of episodes.

I rewatched season one, I'm now on episode one of season two. They repeated a mistake in dialogue from the first season. Mickey refers to the main cop shop as the Glass House. The Glass House closed in 2009 and was demolished ten years later. A minor quibble, no doubt, but something I noticed. Good show, might have to read the books along with the Bosch series.

Spoilers

Bosch and Lincoln Lawyer are definitely connected, I don’t know anything about the books but Bosch from a different streaming service and Lincoln Lawyer on Netflix are connected. I’m pretty sure Bosch was the throw away kid and the Lincoln Lawyer was the rich kid.

Michael Connelly is the author of both book series.

They are intertwined in the book series’, the later novels.

I admit I got trolled by TLL. I was cruising through season 2 and was on the edge of my seat when E5 ended and was waiting for the next episode banner to click on and I got the screen that said part 2 starts August 3rd.

You absolute assholes.

Michael Connelly is one of my favorite authors…he never has a clunker, all interesting, realistic…great books.

SPOILER
In the books Mickey and Bosch have the same Father…Bosch’s mom was a hooker who was murdered…he figures out her killer years and years later.

Too bad Amazon has the rights to Bosch, would like to see some type of crossover with these 2 shows. Especially since the last season of the new iteration of Bosch was God awful.

Bosch on Amazon was significantly better than Lincoln Lawyer on Netflix.

That's absolutely true, for the original Amazon series.

However, the new bosch series they've moved over to truvee (or whatever it's called) is awful.

the only unbelievable part is Cisco
he just rides around all day on his motorcycle and whenever Mickey needs info he somehow comes up with I know a guy or all these contacts that are ludicrous to begin with
And he definitely outkicked his coverage with Lorna

Agreed. He is apparently supposed to be brooding and menacing... when he actually just seems like pudgy grouch. Plus he looks like a dork in his MC helmet which further undermines the whole menacing angle.
