You missed the entire point if the series. The creators have said from the very beginning that the big mysteries wouldn't get answers and this show wouldn't be about answers.

It's about how the characters react and deal with the hand dealt to them.

It is certainly a great show

I get all of that and like I said, the acting is tremendous. But damn....give us some something.

Aside from explaining why the departure happened, what haven't they given us?

So the answer to "WTF is going on?" is great acting and music?

Well, what caused them to drop a bomb on the GR? I'd like to know what sparked that.

What is the role of John and his boy? They've contributed almost nothing this season other than filler characters.

What was last night all about? How did two versions of Kevin enter that dreamland

Speaking of dreamland, what exactly is it? I have no clue what's going on there other than it's a place people go when they leave earth.

As the poster above said, besides the Departed, what haven't they answered?

I feel like they wrapped up everyone's overall arc and the only one left is Nora. In fact I'm kind of impressed they pulled off what they did, I didn't know how they were going to be able to do it and they hit it out of the park last night.

I've spent two hours this morning watching last weeks episode and last nights episode. I'm an emotional wreck at the moment.

The beach ball scene with Nora, Jills final phone call, the reading of the last page of the book and shaved Kevin's "we fricked up with Nora" hit hard.

This show is brilliant. Tempted to rewatch season two and all of three before the finale

Old Nora, though that may be explained in the next episode.

Kevin not really being able to stay dead, though I doubt that gets explained.

Just watched. What an amazing episode

The writing, music, acting. It's so different and non cookie cutter

I'm really going to miss this show and it's a damn shame more people don't watch it.

Pretty clear the government wanted to end the GR.

They are believers/followers (disciples) of Kevin. How do you not see this?

Now I'm starting to think you haven't been paying attention.

Read something where Lindelof said that scene is from the finale and they are certainly returning to it. They made a point to end the premiere with it because it ties into the ending.

Not trying to be a bad arse, just pointing out you don't have any fricking answers either. None of us do. So stop pretending you know what's going on.

Speak for yourself. The show has given you all the answers, except for the cause of the departure and why Nora is old AF at the end of S3E1.

Not my fault y'all aren't paying attention.

i was kind of wtf at the end until i watched the explanation after the credits, then wowsah!

Kevin has spent the entire time since his first international assassin longing to go back there, to feel empowered again, all while ignoring how his actions and behavior affected Nora or how she perceived it ( bag over the head and shite). to any outsider he just looks like a cooky suicidal guy.

Now he will have to try and save her and convince her that he is there for her and there wont be any more chasing the pipe dream. She lost faith in their relationship which is why she is trying to leave. Let's see how it plays out.

That's a good theory

I'm just wondering how Nora gets on the machine after being told no. Also, does Matt go with her since he has nothing to lose?

Also, anyone else surprised he didn't bump into Lori in the alternate world?
