What if older Nora is Nora after she "departs" in the machine?

They go to an alternate reality and forget their past...

Surely it has to be something like this. Then again, the show can and does go in directions no one could ever predict.

Well, besides Kevin Sr. wanting to "kill" Kevin Jr.

If Kevin Sr. was real, I'd definitely want him as a drinking buddy.

Imagine the drunk conversations at the local pub with that guy...

Next Sunday is the finale and from what I can tell, it's a 75 minute episode entitled "The Book of Nora".

It's Lindelof, it's either a time machine or it's sending them to another dimension. I'm going to say its a time machine and the radiation causes old Nora's damage to her face. Which way will she go? Seems like forward since the nun asks her about Kevin.

Just realized something.

This final season began on Easter Sunday and will end on Pentecost.

Wow.

Will we get the answer to the biggest question of all?

I'm expecting very few answers so that way if we actually DO get answers, I'll be surprised.

Wow. A sick, sad, fricking love tragedy with so many religious things tangled in the web. Got damn, I love this show.

I think we get Nora's other side of the machine for sure, but I don't think we see anyone that departed and where they went.

No Laurie in "the other side" so she didn't commit suicide IMO. I mentioned twins were going to play a part, they kind of did.

Patti

Kevin shooting Meg like a boss.

The penis scanner

6969 being the code to get in the building.

Best episode thusfar. Incredible.

I've watched every episode of this series but the show is FAR from "great" imo. The acting and music are top notch and among the best I've seen/heard but the show is filled with random events with no explanation.

Every episode is a miniseries in itself. I'm sure next week will be some more "WTF" for 60 minutes and then it'll end and we don't know what we watched for 28 episodes or the reasoning behind anything that occurred in each of those episodes.

Sure, you don't have to explain EVERYTHING and I love a good mystery but this is just ridiculous. One episode left for them to actually reveal a thing or two rather than just add another question mark to the 27 page list.

You missed the entire point if the series. The creators have said from the very beginning that the big mysteries wouldn't get answers and this show wouldn't be about answers.

It's about how the characters react and deal with the hand dealt to them.

It is certainly a great show
