Really been looking forward to this and it's a pretty good doomsday program that's entertaining for a summer show.

They ended last season with a cliffhanger having develevoped a cure and vaccine for the virus, state cops taking over a navy battleship and the Captain funding out the makeshift gov't is not what it seems with them killing people and burning their bodies and the warlords are actually the good guys.

It's a two hour premeire tonight.

With this, Battlebots, and True Detective all on at the same time, Sunday nights just got crazy

frick, that was an awesome premeire.

I was amped up on roids and adrenaline the whole time. What really pissed me off was the douche fat cop on the bridge. He's that stereotypical cop that everyone loves to hate on. Damn glad slattery kicked and axed the shite out of him. The recapture of the ship was so awesome to watch and kicking the shite out of the douchy and evil cops.

Granderson and her band band of little hitlers were practically true believers and the captain hit the nail on the wall when he said she wouldn't stop killing when they arrived with the cure. They were going to make hitler really proud the rate they were going.

I assume they'll be implementing a new policy that any visitors that come aboard the ship must give up their guns to the armory, leave it ashore or won't be allowed aboard at all if they refuse to give up the guns. Hell, they'll probably be implanting this policy for the other military branches as well. I woukd be paranoid enough to do that as nobody can be trusted in this brave new world.

Was definitely a fun season premier. Looks like it'll be a fun summer show (season 1 was pretty fun).

Took him too long. I was waiting for him to channel his inner John Casey long before he did.

Awesome premier, in every way.

Recorded it last night, watched True Detective instead. I am definitely looking forward to watching it tonight. My wife and caught the season 1 marathon that TNT ran a few weeks back and watched the entire season that day, needless to say we were pleasantly surprised with the pilot and began to really enjoy it so much that we literally did nothing that Sunday besides watch The Last Ship lol

I binged watched season 1 and the first 3 episodes of season 2 over the last two days at work, cant believe I waited so long to get in on the action. Reminds me a lot of what Falling Skys was before it got all crappy. I love having Adam Baldwin back on my tv screen (still waiting on my Morgan and Casey spin-off Chuck creators)

1 and 2 are the same, aren't they? It's that way on our On Demand... it's 2 hours.

3 is up as well.

(it's comcast on demand, if that matters)

With all of these options, I don't see how they can pass up having Adam Baldwin's character be the hero in one of them.

Ahh.. ok.

slight hijack....

Do y'all still get the Kelly Hu Viagra commercial during the commercial break?

I've only ever seen them during The Last Ship. If I had ED, and my wife looked like her, I wouldn't need that stuff. Not that my wife doesn't look like hot, but you get my drift...

I may have to add this show to my watch list on Hulu. I met Eric Dane in DC this spring. He was in town meeting with the Pentagon guys who advise them on the show. He picked up the bar tab for us at the Mandarin.
