Man, people can’t let go of this...she loved her sister more than the game.

She had that fricker and intentionally dropped it. Clear as day.

Die Hard is NOT a Christmas movie.

Christmas must be a central theme, not just a setting to qualify.

Becomes more true with each passing Bond film.

I’m sorry, this is not a controversial opinion anymore. Mission Impossible is unquestionably superior to Bond at this point. I love Bond, but anyone who doesn’t see this is just letting nostalgia cloud their judgement.

Aight, I’m feeling froggy, so I’ll post this again:

Batman Begins>>>TDKR>TDK

TDK is kind of a mess of a movie, tries to do WAYYY to much, but has the excellent performance by Ledger to salvage it. But it is still the worst of the trilogy.

The entire idea that Batman should take responsibility for Dent’s death, thereby becoming “The Dark Knight”, in order to maintain his image as a beacon of justice is so laughably stupid in the way it is presented that it pretty much makes the entire story and movie nonsensical.

Why his death wouldn’t just be lumped in with all of the others bodies and rubble piled up by Joker and his crew will never make any sense to me whatsoever no matter how much others try to convince themselves it isn’t the most contrived shite of all time.

This is the dumbest fricking shite I’ve ever read. Wyatt Earp is an American legend. As is Doc Holiday.

I have to agree. Hands down the worst take I’ve read on The Movie board. And I’ll die on that hill. You know it’s a bad take when just about everyone isn’t even discussing his thought. Just posting their own thoughts as if the original idea of this thread was so ridiculous, it didn’t bother a discussion

Gordon Bombay should have never been allowed to be around those kids.

I hope this isn’t controversial. Stallone over Arnold by a lot.

Arnold’s best know for playing a robot that barely talks. Stallone BTFO the commies in two different franchises.

Yes. Agreed. Awful take. Nathan was one hell of a player and Brooke was absolute fire.

I feel it’s much closer than what your saying. I have no problem having Stallone on top. But Conan and Terminator are iconic characters and like you said, he barely even had to speak to have success.

Ya, there’s a take!

Can we make good movies again?

No more remakes.

..and please, for the love of god, stop with the superhero movies.

The mass dumbs love it, so it will never end. But still, be an artist, have some integrity.

Moxon from Varsity Blues was a huge POS, and I doubt he makes it a single semester at Brown.
