Caught this flick last night, hadn't heard of it. The special effects and action were amazing. Has anybody heard if there will be a sequal?

It underperformed in China, so probably not.

This movie could have been fantastic with a more fleshed out plot.

And a better script, director, editor, dialog, and actors

And concept. Just everything about it was stupid.

Agreed. Enjoyed it for a lazy Sunday on the couch, but it just seemed thrown together.

I own it on blu ray. I thought it was pretty decent. Certainly better than something like Gods of Egypt.

I actually enjoyed Gods of Egypt.

Great Wall was ok.

I don’t have sophisticated tastes.

What kind of accent was Damon going for? It’s like he was constantly trying to hold back from laughing

The previews looked awful. I wanted to go see it in theaters because it looked like it might be one of those so bad that it's good flicks, but I didn't get around to it.

Agreed! I watched on TV, would never pay money to see it though. It was bad. Entertaining, but a bad movie.

It had some visually striking scenes, mainly due to the use of vibrant colors, but it was a very bad movie overall.

The tension between Damon and the Asian chick was epic, i kept waiting for them to bone right there on the wall.

Movie was meh, but I loved that first battle scene at the wall from the drums, to the catapulting fireballs, to the acrobatic bungee warriors.

The only thing I remember from when this came out was that a lot of SJW types were crying because of the "White Savior" aspect of the movie.

I actually enjoyed it. Nothing really memorable but it was entertaining enough.
