The Gentlemen (Season 2)

Just finished season 2 and was pleasantly surprised. Deals with an Italian crime family and they snuck in some scenes in homage to the Godfather.
Might have to do a re-watch of season 1 and 2 back to back to see which I liked best, but I'm leaning toward season 1 as the better of the two.

2 eps left and I'm digging it. Lots less goofiness, but still some crazy antics with multiple moving pieces.

The season finale was insane!! I am not happy about waiting an undetermined period of time for season 3.

Yes, if they release it at once you have to watch it all at once. It’s in the TOS of Netflix.
I’m just saying shows generate more & better word-of-mouth when they release weekly.
I’ve chosen to space out viewing, but within a week‘s time or so it’s already watched. Instead of 8 to 10 weeks.

At first I didn't like that they omitted all of the humor from the show. I also thought that it was a bit boring for the first few episodes, but it gets better and better towards the end. I like the evolution of the Duke from reluctant gangster to all out Scarface level bad guy. I miss Freddie though. He cracked me up and every time he was on screen in the first season it was gold. What happened to him in the last episode of s2....wasn't funny.

I rewatched the miniseries Gold on Prime (Masterpiece) and noticed a younger Fredward in it. Similar sense of humor (kinda) in a generally serious saga. He’s great. Need to IMDB what else he’s been in
