Just them being villains. I believe that all of the Reverse-Flashes (at least that I can remember) had basically the same (or similar at least) power as the Flashes.

I've never read comic in my life but CW went from being a bitch channel to badass with Arrow and Flash. Arrow's season 1-2 plot is some of the best tv that I've watched. It's not as epic as game of thrones or breaking bad but I'm just as excited for an Arrow episode as I was for those two shows.

exactly. i told this to a few friends when I was the only one who watched it and they couldnt believe it. then they started watching it. now almost my entire group of friends is just as into the show. its just very well put together.

Most famous is Eobard Thawne, aka Professor Zoom. He doesn't go by Reverse-Flash anymore though.

Comic readers sometimes catch a lot of grief for reading them, but the somewhat recent tv and movie success kind of goes to show how good (well enjoyable at least) the comic story lines can be. A lot of the comic based movies use some of (or at least parts of) known comic book plot points and story lines. The stories are very similar, just told from a different medium.

Who knows, CW is weird. Last year arrow would come on at two different times depending on your cable provider I think. Or location or something

Watched the rerun too. I appear to be the only one who is not digging the show big time. I feel like Sheldon Cooper here but one thing that I do not like and noticed in the pilot were some sort of irregularity, mistake, or illogical storyline progression in many scenes.
The ending was certainly intriguing. I wish there were a few more scenes like that sprinkled throughout the pilot that can be addressed in future episodes. Instead of the way they tried to partially and poorly address so many questions upfront. It made the pilot feel rushed.

I think Harrison Wells is an alias, taken from H.G. Wells, who wrote The Time Machine. So he's a time traveler, possibly Reverse Flash. That seems too easy though. Perhaps Chronos or Abra Kadabra? Or Rip Hunter? He might not be a villain but a good guy trying to ensure that Flash is around to win the Crisis.

It doesn't look like the actor in that Reverse-Flash costume is the same actor that is playing Wells to me. Does it look like a different person to anyone else?

good theory. They have mentioned Booster Gold would be on the show at some point. I like the idea of him being Rip Hunter or Booster.

Booster Gold crossed my mind, but they would be totally changing Booster's personality if he were to turn out to be Wells. Booster's fame seeking personality is kind of what makes him Booster Gold. I would kind of hate to see that taken away from Booster on this show.
