When Barry was on Arrow. They left him in a coma if I remember correct. I was hoping for a spinoff as soon as they did that episode.

So I'm assuming that we will be following the same "posting rules" in this thread that we do for the Arrow season threads (like posting comic stuff, posting showrunner interviews, ect)?
I like the way we do the Arrow season threads versus say the Walking Dead season threads. It is 100x more civil, and 1000x more fun.

I'm stoked. I've always loved the concept of super speed and the Flash. Not many people actually understand how powerful that power could be if it was written well. Having super speed means that to Barry Allen, he can literally put the rest of the world on slow motion, or even pause. He can react to anything that comes his way. Of course they have to write in some limitations or he'd be amnipotent and boring. Still, LOTS of cool possibilities.
My only disappointment in the upcoming show is the costume. Why the hell is a super speeder wearing dark red leather??? This looks like shite:
Why not make his costume out of the stuff that downhill skiers wear? It looks to be thicker than lycra, it's form fitting, and looks WAY better.

It's not leather, it's some suit thats super heat and friction resistant, or some shite like that.

i think it comes off better in post production. hard to judge things from a still from on set. have you seen what most of these things look like on set?

I was hoping that was the case. As much as I love the original X-Men movie, their thick leather biker gear costumes were so stiff and clunky it was almost impossible for them to move with smooth fluidity.

I can only assume that this is probably the beginning of the evolution of the Flash suit. Im sure as he gets a handle of all his powers, he will get a new suit, and it will look more like the one that we all know.

It takes Barry a long time to truly master his powers down to the molecular level. Unfortunately for him, his super speed tends to give him a very short attention span.

Really excited about this. The Barry Allen episode on Arrow was really cool! I was late to the Arrow train as well. Watched first few episodes of season 1 last year & got really busy. Picked it back up last week & I have a few episodes left of it. The fact that they'll have 2 or 3 crossover episodes with Arrow & the Flash is pretty cool. From reading some of the stuff, the show runners have had a lot of fun with those episodes.

i forget some of you fricks get it at the normal central time. for some reason the CW in New Orleans plays Arrow and Flash at the Eastern 8pm time slot. this sucks for tomorrow.
