Seriously, is there any way in hell Iris would be able shoot future Barry? Even if he was going 1/10 of his full speed, she shouldn't be able to get a shot off. I never read the comics, so I'm not always sure about things.

Which version are you talking about?
The Caitlin Snow version is almost completely encased in ice, like Bobby Drake (Iceman), and has spiky short hair. The Louise Lincoln version has a mohawk.

When he took off, the lights were showing up around his body. I thought that meant he was running really fast, or was gearing up to. He should've been able to get to Barry faster than the bullet, much less the time it would take her to draw and pull the trigger.

That was terrible.
Iris can't shoot future Barry. For 1, he's a speedster and B, he'd have known that was going to happen with the shared memories.
This being trapped in the speedforce is so stupid, and the goodbyes, good Lord. Just stupid. We all know he'll be out in the first episode. It's as stupid as killing superman in BvS. Why do it if no one believes it has legs to stand on? Waste of time.

No believes he will be stuck there. It's the aftermath. What happens while he gone? How long is he gone? How does he get out? Where does everyone stand when he gets back? It was a lame ending but not like a story can't be built upon it.

I'm sure this getting trapped in the speedforce will be some catalyst to next seasons bad guy or something. It just could have been done another way, instead of doing something that no one believes makes any sense or has any real threats.

The good, special effects and the end, at least they addressed the speed force issue.
The bad, making Iris a hero and having her shoot Savitar lol. They could have had the time paradox erase Savitar after Flash busted him out of the suit.
Pretty weak finale, but the season was pretty good.

I agree she shouldn't have been able to shoot a speedster, but the memories aren't shared instantly because they broke the loop and it hadn't happened yet.
I didn't like him voluntarily going into the speedforce. They should have saved that for having him vanish into the speedforce in a crisis.

I'd still like to see a crisis loom large enough that the Tornado Twins (Don and Dawn Allen) have to travel back in time and warn their parents about it.

I hope Barry is gone for a year or more. A time jump would do this show some good.

For a great as this season has been, the finale was a huge letdown especially the end/cliffhanger for next season.
I agree there will be some sort of time lapse and I have a feeling Iris will either be pregnant or have had a child prior to Barry returning.
