Seriously though could Zoom actually be Earth 1 Jay/Zoloman? Not sure how he would have gotten to Earth 2 to begin with though but it would seem to make some sense. I mean Wells makes it seem pretty clear that Jay Garrick and Zoom both existed on Earth 2 as different people.

The guy in the iron mask in Zoom's cell is not any of the main characters doppelgänger I can promise you that.
I've always felt that Zoom was jay from another earth or eddie thawne from season one.
Oh and sfx continues to impress and pretty well done for TV. Honestly, with what I'm seeing in SuperGirl, Arrow and Flash, there's no reason why a Batman, Superman or even Wonder Woman live action show on TV can't work.

My official theory on record:
The man in the mask is Jay/hunter from earth 1.. Jay is both E2 Flash and Zoom. V6 experiment fricked Jay up and created a physical manifestation of both his good and evil side.

Theory:
Velocity 99 caused Jay's atoms to split/duplicate/clone whatever. Each jay has different personalities but are from the same original Jay
Now you have a regular jay who is locked up
Evil jay who is zoom
And dumb jay who is dead. Dumb in the sense that he lost his connection to the speed force.

Wells did say he created zoom.
I think some of the flashbacks we've seen of Jay/flash on E2 have been original Jay. Maybe some weren't true like the one of the Jay/Zoom fight.

Maybe there are two sets of twins. Earth one Jay & Hunter Z. and Earth two Jay & Hunter Z.

Guy in mask is Barry's dad from another earth, literally the flash from the earlier tv show. I hope anyway.

I agree. If Wells created Zoom, then how could he not know that Jay was Zoom. It's not like Wells created this evil speedster, complete with black suit, out of nothing. Wells had to have known he was experimenting on Jay, which turned Jay into Zoom. Unless Zoom is not Jay or Wells is lying.
Remember in Season 1, On Earth 1 Reverse Flash used future tech to assume the identity of Wells. I'm thinking Zoom did the same thing. He's from the future and copied Jay's ID. Which could mean that Zoom is future Wells. If you mirrored (distorted of course) last season, then the Wells we are seeing is present day Earth 2 Wells and Zoom could be future Earth 2 Wells. This would explain why present day Earth 2 Wells claims he is responsible for Zoom. Present day Earth 2 Wells created the Speed Force while experimenting on Jay, and future Earth 2 Wells used it for evil.

Didn't Jay tell Caitlin that earth 1 Jay was adopted? That's why she couldn't find the Jay and only Hunter.
