Tis the season, better than expected for a comic book TV show Christmas episode.
Joe explained bringing in Wally.
Cold and Zoom wishing Merry Chrsitmas.
Wells made the deal with Zoom.
The battle, which is always secondary to me was ok, but I didn't buy the magnetism solution.

I think this Wells will be good and turn on the deal.
Why did Joe give him the watch? That's a typical device in movies, but it always reminds me of Pulp Fiction and the Christiphet Walken speech.

At this point, its starting to get dumber and dumber that Barry wont just tell Patty. Like Clark not telling Lex on Smallville and causing all the problems dumb.

I'm sure it's addressed in the comics and I assume they will at some point on the show. who is zoom and how did he learn to steal speed force from other speedsters, and will barry (maybe with the help of wells) learn to steal it and steal zoom's to ultimately defeat him

Usually "Professor Zoom" is also the Reverse Flash.

I think the recent comics may have made Reverse Flash and Zoom into different characters.

Originally, there was that one character that went by Professor Zoom and Reverse Flash. Nowadays I'm not so sure.

If I remember correctly, the speed force doesn't exist without Barry. He is the one who created it. He is part of it, and it is part of him. I want to say he figures out how to control it as its "owner" in one of the storylines somewhere.

I do know that he didn't die in one storyline, but simply disappeared into the speed force for awhile.

Before the season began, they said that this was going to be Zolomon's Zoom, and not Eobard Thawne's Reverse Flash (I can't recall if they ever used the "Professor Zoom" reference last season, but I'm thinking they just used the RF reference).

But since they have been hiding his face all season, everyone seems to think that this Zoom is someone's doppelganger from Earth 2. It'll be interesting if Zoom's name is actually Zolomon, or if that is some sort of cover.
