1) This is not “The Fall Guy”. The movie looks interesting enough, just let it stand on its own.
2) I like Emily Blunt but she is no Heather Thomas.
3) Will watch.

think it says something about the state of movies today that I pore over every frame of the action scenes in this trailer looking for evidence of CGI. I'm worried about this one.
He has to take on other jobs (ie bounty hunting), because stunts are being done with CGI now.

I don't remember the tv show being a comedy
Um, yeah. The Fall Guy was an action comedy. You considered it a drama?

After seeing the trailer just now in the Eagles game, do I even need to watch the movie?

I wonder how many axles they broke from jumping that truck. Also an underrated cool thing from the show was when they would stand on those little launch pads in the bed of the truck. They would use them to jump over walls.

Just change Farrah to Eva. Problem solved.
She’s old enough to remember the show on tv.

I'm willing to go see this...but only if they promise to follow up with a Simon and Simon movie.

It looks fun and I’ll definitely watch. It seems to be a refreshing change from the ultra-progressive p/c themes and styles dominating movies these days.
And yet… the postmodern style of being highly self-aware (meta) is all too apparent. Perhaps modern audiences just can’t tolerate actual romantic themes and story arcs.

Excited about this reboot. Grew up on this show and hope they pull it off. Wouldn't mind a Buck Rogers series while we are at it.

That's a great trailer. I hope the movie lives up to it

Were 80's shows not on reruns later? Gilligan's Island and Bewitched were before my time but that was on constantly after school and Six Million Dollar Man and Bionic Woman were on in the morning if you didn't go to school.
Same here Star Trek, Twilight Zone, that Martian show. But when we were kids it was still very limited channels, content, etc. while for decades now there’s so much content and sources it’s easy to miss things even if they are on reruns.
