I didn't see any of that as rising to the level of some sort of woke agenda.
Lol

The political shite is dumb, and as hamfisted as Watchmen
Lindlehof is bad at social commentary, it always comes across as nuanced as a Reddit r/politics circle jerk
But I just eyeroll through that.
At least there is more to this show than braindead redditor philosophizing
True. I just can't imagine being dumb enough to imply the political agenda in this show is "real or imagined." There's no "or." It's very clearly real.
Like you, I've just been eye-rolling past it so far. Bigger problem to me is the complete lack of anything happening in episode 2.

I mean you say nothing happened in the episode but yet you think it would have been just better to wait and do nothing? He was figuring stuff out while having no (?) power. The show is also clearly a detective show as well. I like Kyle Chandler a lot so I'm just enjoying his character.
We learned nothing from any part of this segment. Hal did stuff, it just didn't move the plot along.

Learning that the high school and in turn the Yellowstone crew had the technology to identify aliens is 100% moving the plot along. You not liking the scene or the episode is fine, but it's silly to think it didn't move the plot along. Prior to that, we knew four aliens were shot on the football field but didn't know how someone in Nebraska could even know they were aliens, after that scene, we knew why. Pretty simple.

We learned that the manhunters killed a whole world of aliens and they're on earth looking for vengeance who will probably end up being the red lanterns.
We learned that Jon can keep things manifiested long after he creates them and doesn't need a ring to keep them manifested.
I have a feeling you just didn't pay attention at all during the show.

We already knew they could identify aliens because they knew which people in the crowd were aliens and killed only those people. We did not learn this from this episode.

That does nothing to move the plot along in any way. Last week we knew they could identify aliens, and this week we still know that. We also know that they don't have "metal detectors" set up throughout the entire town so we know this isn't their only detection method.

What is the political agenda of this show? Be specific.

Best meta line was Hal saying something like “I get the feeling I’m not wanted here” I laughed thinking, boy the show runners really don’t but you’re the bait they had to have.

Again, we learned how they identified them. Hence that entire scene you have complaints about.

So another thing we learned this episode

Broke lore multiple times
That's no proof that they don't know the difference between Martian Manhunter and Manhunters. Give us more specifics

Breaking lore multiple times in the first 2 episodes is definitely a reason to believe they’ll do more of it.

Yeah bro thats the twist. Keep up

Do you think John falling into the river next episode is where he’ll get his superpowers? Another lore breaking event the shills will cream themselves over.
Btw how will they turn Kerry into Barbara Gordon? That’ll be some fun retardation as well.

I asked a question, why do you constantly misrepresent what people say? Are you aware you do it?

If you think about it for longer than three seconds, you'll realize none of this is new information.

Okay, I guess this was new information.

Now you're just grasping at straws.
