Could be good. Post-Victoria you have:

- Edward VII modernizing their Navy, dying during a Constitutional crisis.

- The name change to Windsor due to anti-German sentiment.

- Edward’s abdication/Wallis Simpson

- Elizabeth’s Dad and the connection to his cousin Tsar Nicholas II (Romanov)

- Elizabeth II’s Dad (who fought during WWI) and World War II

These were both briefly covered in the earlier seasons of The Crown, but it would be great to see them expound on the events more.

I wonder if they will bring back Claire Foy and Matt Smith or if they will recast the roles of the young Princess Elizabeth and Prince Phillip. The actress they used to play Elizabeth as a teenager looked remarkably like Claire Foy. She would be a great choice.

Jenna Coleman and Tom Hughes were so good as Albert and Victoria. I'm still pissed about where they ended that one. It was my understanding that Daisy Goodwin wanted to continue it but with the cast moving on to other projects and such it wasn't possible.

history tells us literally what happened next
