Probably just an edit. Seemed like Turbo and Paulie had a good relationship/respect for one another last season.

Loved seeing a glimpse of CT's old personality come out. While out of shape, he's still a bull no one is really going to want to do face in a physical elimination... especially a raging one. I'd love to see CT win one, say frick it, and not switch teams.

If I were them, I'd target Jordan as much as possible for both teams. Second to Turbo, everyone should want him out the house. No one is going to want to target Turbo.

Watched last night. The whole angle with Turbo and CT and the two girls (meh) seems unnecessary and stupid. They are brought out as some kind of enforcer types, but then after challenge one they are just drafted onto each team. I'm glad CT and Turbo are in the game, but it just seems odd to do it like that. I guess they wanted some potential drama with CT's legend status going up against Turbo actual awesome status to create drama.

Laurel is such a bitch, but I absolutely love her on these shows. And good to see she's back on the hetero team now.

It seemed weird to me that the Georgia/Bear thing from last season wasn't mentioned even for one second. Surely that has to come up at some point. I didn't watch the reunion last season, but did anything of substance happen with that? Surely Georgia had to have a change of heart once she saw how much of a dick Bear was behind her back on the show.

Josh is so hilarious with how much he annoys everybody while seeming like he's not even trying to. I honestly think he is THAT oblivious to how much he grinds on everybody. It's so awkward and awesome to watch. First night in and he's got CT reverting back to psycho CT already.

And Josh with females is even more hilarious. It's like watching a kid see or touch a boob for the first time and then immediately fall in love. It's great.

Cara looks worse and worse every season now. She used to be weird hot, and now she just looks weird. And I thought she and Paulie weren't together anymore? I was planning on finally liking Paulie, but I guess I won't again.

I like the idea of switching teams if you want to. That should create some bullshite.

Why does Kyle look so different now? It can't just be his hair. Did he have more surgery or something?

There doesn't seem to be many hot chicks on this season as compared to past ones. And I don't even know who half of these UK kids are.

I felt bad for Sean, but he legit didn't even try to mesh with anybody in the house that first night. The social aspect of this game is so damn important, and he should know that.

Yep, but now he is competing with the British team He is also 50 pounds heavier than he was in his best years, whereas Wes and Jordan are the same size as usual. I think Zach has generally lost muscle mass over the years and now just sticks out because he is taller than everyone but Theo.

Do him and Wes get along?

I was always hoping CT would have kicked the %$#& out of him?

As well as that kid with the mohawk... Abram? Was that his name?

Man I’m surprised the USA team pulled the trigger on Turbo. He was 1000% the right pick. Dudes the most well rounded challenge competitor I’ve ever seen. If it was anyone else, they pick CT probably.

The switching sides dynamic is really interesting. The USA guys can’t just throw guys at Turbo until he loses an elimination. He could just bounce.

Turbo is good but I don’t think he’s the best athlete ever. Evan, Kenny, Miz, old school Mark, Landon and young CT would give him plenty competition.

He seemed to have a crush on Amanda last season and he legit was acting like a kid with a crush. She didn’t even take him seriously.

Turbo would smoke the first three guys you named in just about anything. You were thinking of best athletes from the show and Evan and Kenny were the first names that came to mind?

Just watched, good start to the season. CT is really fat and out of shape. His cardio was never good either. He might still be decent at something short involving brute strength but that's about it. Josh is still a huge tool. Weird seeing Kyle ditch his bandana, maybe he fixed his hair plugs. Lots of rookies on the British team but they seem like good athletes. Laurel should have a cakewalk to the finish for the girls assuming she doesn't mentally implode.

Agree with you. I had to do a double take when I saw those names first mentioned as best athletes. I liked them both, but they were far from it. They were both easily top 10 overall competitors though.

Old school dominator athletes were Landon and Darrell. And CT was pure brute force.

He's one of the last people you want to face in an elimination, and one of the first you'd want to see against you in a final.

I'm surprised Laurel was the only person in that challenge to play any defense, it seemed like such an obvious strategy.

Turbo was 100% the right pick. I do wonder if he would switch sides given the chance.

Evan was. Evan would be in the group below all of the best guys.

Not sure about Kenny. I don’t think Kenny ever really proved much on the show. His best season as a competitor only happened because Laurel was a beast.

From what I heard about him, he probably became a much better athlete after being banned from the show than he ever was on the show.

No way. Kenny was a great competitor on the show. Especially as his seasons went on. Didn’t he literally pick up Wes and carry him up a mountain and through most a final one season?

This just isn’t true. Any time someone from their alliance had to actually do anything, either they sacrificed Johnny, or Evan would step up. Kenny was a big guy, but he never proved he was a great competitor.

Not even close. First of all, Kenny was garbage that season. Wes is the only reason they made that final, physically and politically.

Secondly, they had a giant lead in the final. Kenny kept bitching about wanting to carry Wes. So Wes let him see if he could just to shut him up. Wes said if they had played that clip a second longer, it would have shown that Kenny immediately put him back down.

Don’t know where the hell you got that Kenny carried him up a mountain for most of a final. By the way, the fact that putting Wes on his back for like three seconds is his greatest athletic accomplishment on the show proves my point. Kenny rode Evan’s coattails more than Johnny because at least Johnny had to compete for his spot a few times.

CT and Wes get along well these days. They won Rivals II together (CT's first victory), and you could tell they actually liked being partnered that season. It wasn't like Rivals I where Kenny and Wes hated each other every episode. And then on the first Champs vs Pros, CT let Wes compete in the final when they were tied for the final spot since he thought Wes had a better overall season.

I think CT likes Wes more than Wes likes CT, and that Wes would never associate with someone like CT in his real life, but it's fairly subtle. But it says a lot when CT invites Wes to his wedding (although the producers clearly required CT to have 5-6 cast members for that terrible show, CT clearly had veto power), whereas Wes only invited his real friends, Devin and his Austin castmates to his own wedding.

Abram dated Cara Maria for a long time. He came back for a challenge a few seasons ago and he was entertaining at first because it was during the peak of Johnny Banana's power on the show, and he absolutely did not buy into it. He was still in decent shape but he was eliminated towards the end of the season. He's also completely fricking crazy 20 percent of the time. I can absolutely see him committing a series of brutal murders and then calmly walking into a police station and turning himself in without raising his voice or the slightest provocation of violence.

I mean the guy goes into the woods and burns himself in the chest to prove that he is as tough as native American soldiers from 500 years ago. Anyone who watched the Bloodlines reunion knows there is a 99.9 chance he beat up Cara Maria, and I don't even have it out for the guy in the least (Johnny is the only person I really dislike on the show).

Cutthroat era, admittedly this is a very clean pic

Turbo and Theo have legitimate accomplishments outside of the show, with Theo being by far the most accomplished. However, Theo's is one specific thing that doesn't translate that well into the show. The way the show is set up, the world crossfit champion would be able to beat the majority of Olympic gold medalists and athletes making more than 10 million dollars a year.

But of the old school guys, the only ones who be on his level are Landon and Young CT if he could control his temper to the level he does now. Old School Mark made his money beating people from the Real World who didn't work out, smoked cigarettes before finals, and had no athletic background. Same with the Miz, who was noticeably less impressive than CT.

Fresh Meat revolutionized the show (both seasons), and Evan was really good as a rookie, certainly better than Johnny when he started out. He was also by far the most obvious cast member on PEDs when you look at how much his body changed over 5 years, especially once he won Duel II. Kenny is like a worse Jordan, great cardio because he doesn't party that much and works out regularly but no one is scared of him.

Alton would have been interesting to see but he also thrived in a less competitive era.

Did anybody catch what TJ said at the very end of the preview for next week? I had to rewind and and the CC said “I hate tears” but that doesn’t sound like something he’d say. “I hate cheaters” maybe?
