This is a very very well thought out season. They are also clearly focusing more on the house interaction and relationships and not spending 2/3 of each episode on challenges.

I still hope they go back to full challenge and elimination in the same episode. Hoping they only cut this one to keep the grenade suspense but I have a feeling I’m wrong.

What does the Grenade do? Does it send someone into Exile automatically?

They haven't explained that yet other than saying it can turn the game upside down. I'm thinking it allows people in the elimination to switch places with someone not in the elimination.

If thats what it does, I’m worried this season will last until May. They are only taking out one person per week. They aren’t doing an elimination per episode. And there are 26 people left...

I can’t find the article again but they gave examples of what a grenade could be on mtv.com when it was being previewed. I posted the general rules on the first page after I read it.

That dude is never going to win a finals unless he changes his game up and make a truce with the other vets. How stupid can you be to come into every season painting a target on your back from the jump? So you may win a few eliminations but leaving would just be inevitable.

But yea, that girl Bananas is chatting up is fine as hell.

John is like a new man on this season. That chick is a knockout and now he's free to be as much of a dog as he wants. Great, great play having him single again on the show. It's been like 10 seasons since that has happened.

did you watch the Champs vs Stars. He made a comment that he will be back with a different attitude or something like that. He was low key there. I know different game and all but they are still competing/politicking for money and trust.

So far good episodes

I wonder how much they got for winning Champs vs Stars. I know it's said 50K to each one's charity, but there's no way they are going on that show without getting paid.

It's also a far easier challenge, both mentally and physically, but I would bet they all at least pocketed 25-50K each for winning, right?

TO certainly wasn't doing that show for charity.

Nah, probably just appearance fee since it's supposed to be for charity

This season has a lot of promise through two episodes. Glad to have Brad back. Honestly, he's come back with more of a presence than Derrick K. He was barely featured until the end when production had no choice since he was among the final few remaining.

Also, what happened to Eddie from AYTO? Did he leave or something and we don't know about it? One of the girls mentioned about watching 12 dudes run around in baby oil. Eddie would be the 13th.

I read that Eddie was accused of assault by one of the girls he dated once the show started so he was DQ'd and they made it look like he was never there. MTV tends to sweep actual serious things under the rugs and away from TV.

Cory went on a Twitter rant about this situation. He said he can't be quiet on how MTV didn't want to show him standing up for domestic violence but is quick to make him look stupid.

Said that Eddie left because Alicia has a restraining order against him.

Also talked about how they (cast) had to fight for the Camilla / Leroy situation to be aired. Basically calling out MTV on their choices when it comes to airing certain events.

Were Alicia and Eddie Vendettas for each other?

Interesting. Normally I would have never noticed but I saw several AYTO Season 5 episodes, so I recognized Alicia, Kam and Eddie from the original casting

I was wondering that... especially when the troika was deliberating, I was thinking, why is no one even mentioning Eddie? Usually rookies are easy targets. I figured I had just missed him during the actual challenge.

Props to Bananas for winning, that was impressive, guess he isn't starting to show his age quite yet. Also pretty funny of Kyle to promise not to say Corey's name, even shake on it, then go right ahead and say Corey's name. I'm sure there was more to it than that during the interrogation, that led him to switch.

I'm betting the grenade has something to do with the banks... like maybe the winner can challenge someone for their money in a non-elimination competition? Or put their money on the line during the challenge?
