what happens if the agency disagrees on who to send in?
like TJ asks both people who theyd send in, but they have agreed so far? if they disagreed would they go with same or opposite sex picking who goes in the elim?

They will probably just make something up on the fly. If I had to guess, I’d say that the house vote then gets to pick from anyone, even the agency.

Anyone else find it ironic they made the elimination contestants wear a helmet, while wearing a harness, to climb a ladder...yet no one had to wear a helmet to jump off a 35’ cliff surrounded by jagged rocks?!

good question. the rocks probably werent an issue but something was. one dude got concussed and lost his clothes
but yea they needed helmets for the ladder considering how much they were falling and knocking big pipes off. B even got a nice nose lac.

Pretty boring episode. Even after Tommy left the rookies just needed to flip one veteran vote to avoid elimination. And Ed could have shaken things up, but just went along with it.

Man, Ed talks in double negatives all the time. It's hilarious how stupid he sounds. I love him though.
That was a cool challenge, although it bothered me that none of them seemed to be trying to go fast at all. It's a fricking race, and they are slowly walking along to pick up the bombs in the cave, and then the same thing back on the beach to disarm the bombs. And the fact that it came down to less than a second shows why you should always push as fast as you can for timed challenges.
The rookies are playing this so stupidly...the vets are lucky that they are playing stupid. Amanda is right, the vets don't have the numbers, so they should put all their shite aside until every single rookie is gone (or almost all of them). But the rookies have the numbers and still are trying to throw each other into eliminations. The rookies should definitely band together and vote in vets until THEY are gone. But they don't do that. Every season this game is played so stupidly by most people. It's weird.
The rookies also need to win more challenges too.
I love how Devin is running the deliberation meeting.
Getting rid of T is a stupid move. She sucks and is a layup for sure.
It bothers me every week that they sit there and vote in front of everyone, and how unfair it is for the people sitting versus the people standing up.
There isn't enough Kyle this season so far. That's a bad thing. And he's right too...if there is an alliance with the vets, breaking that this early is stupid for Tori.
"Two stones, one bird." Yup, Ashley.
Is Michele kinda hot? I am leaning toward yes.
This elimination seems pretty easy and straightforward. I have no idea how Berna is struggling so much. Although at one point it is showing that her ladder is complete except for the top two rungs, and Tacha's is barely halfway done. So maybe it's edited to make it seem a lot closer than it really is. I wonder if you're allowed to just put the rung up and then jump off and glide down so you don't knock the rungs off..?
Welp, there it is...Berna just put one on and then jumped off. So clearly it's allowed.
Nelson is such a dork. Even when he's talking shite or talking about a woman, it just feels like he's reading from a script."
Sucks for Tommy though. He seemed like a solid competitor. I wonder when/how he got his concussion. Did they show him hitting something?
I agree this felt like a boring episode.

I think you underestimate how exhausted they are. They didn't show it as well as they could have but they mentioned the swirling nature of the water they were in. It wasn't a straight swim. There were probably several times when they felt like they were swimming in place or not making any progress at all.

Oh I know all that. That's very difficult water to swim in, I get that. I'm saying at least when you're on solid ground, jog to go grab the bomb. And then on the beach, jog or even walk briskly to the finish line where you can then collapse and rest. But trudging along as slow as possible only costs you time, and for one team had they literally walked a fraction of a second faster they would've won.

that walking time in the cave is probably a good way to take a breather. but yea why they were walking to disarm is confusing, im assuming they were exhausted.
but like others have posted losing the dailies is rather low risk. As long as you aren't a total liability, its only beneficial to win really.

Yea berna was going way faster but she kept knocking the poles down. they did use the jump off to not F up the ladder strategy a few times.
vet alliance continues, they usually dont get this far without breaking the truce tho huh?

Funny enough, the team with the second fastest time (Michele and Corey L) was in the same heat as the team with the fastest time, so even though they maybe could have sped it up some on the beach, they knew they weren't in first place regardless.

Average episode, quick thoughts:
-As I’ve said before, they gotta do a better job making it obvious who is winning in these challenges. When they do them in heats instead of all at the same time, it sucks having no clue who’s winning until they announce it. I also agree with those saying it seemed like they could’ve hustled more to the end. Also, was anyone totally sure on the rules? Did both people have to swim into the cave or did only one have to get the bomb and then come back? Seemed like some of them swam in, some just hung halfway, and some didn’t even go in.
-The rookies, per usual, are so fvcking dumb. I get folks saying “they’re rookies”, but it’s not like this is some top secret show they can’t watch beforehand. Regardless of whether they’ve been on the show before you think they’d simply understand the concept of voting numbers, but every season that seems to be too much to ask for these idiots. O well, probably for the best as most of the rookies are pretty eh.
-Are folks actually questioning whether Michelle is hot? That chick is smoking and actually (unlike most of these chicks) looks like she’s pretty minimal on the makeup and looks the same throughout, just naturally pretty.
-Devin goading these dumb rookies into talking and banging themselves at deliberations is so damn funny. Keep your mouth shut you idiots lol.
-Was anyone else screaming at the TV in hopes they’d bring Kelz back when the ginger got bounced? Frick I guess they’re limited by maybe quarantine stuff if he left, but damn in an easier perfect world they should’ve done it, Fessy would’ve absolutely dumped his pants.
-Really cool elimination! Individual eliminations are sooooooo much better. Surprised the acrobat didn’t destroy the Nigerian further, but she got the W in the end.

That would have been great, assuming he was still there and not headed home. I assume they have quarantine rules and probably had Ed and Amber quarantined as well as replacements. Maybe that's just all the replacements they had available.

I find it hilarious that someone is following this thread and downvoting every post.
And Michele was even hot on Survivor after 30+ days without any makeup or hygeine. She probably stunk, but fortunately smellavision doesn't exist yet.

I don't watch The Challenge all that often, but I just so happened to watch tonight's episode, and what did I see...Fessy doing Fessy things.
Why this guy decided to not only go after a vet, but a fellow BB alum that thought she was good with him. That was almost as bad as him nominating Scotty on BB20.
