I’ve said this every damn season, but I still don’t know why the rookies don’t ever band together and vote out the vets. They always have the numbers but are always too scared to do it.
rookies are too inexperienced to organize and politic that well. I think that theyre still a rookie for 2-3 seasons, not only brand new contestants. so some 'rookies/soon-to-be-vets' are making alliances or plotting against other rookies. so they stay under the radar for a couple rounds before vets break their own truce. also im sure the vets influence some of the rookies to flip.

Nah, anyone who has been on before is a 'vet' but you're right that the ones that are still relatively new don't have a strong allegiance either way. We saw it last season with Big T rolling with the rookies even though it wasn't her first season.
That doesn't really apply much this season though... Nam would have been borderline had he stayed around and I think Amber is solidly a veteran after getting a W her first season.
ETA: The rookies definitely had the numbers for the first two episodes, but they failed to take advantage.
It's currently 15 vets and 15 rookies, counting Amber as a veteran. If two veterans win the 'agency' then the rookies would have the numbers to vote a vet team in, but the 'agency' would certainly throw two rookies in to face them. Win and they could solidify the numbers, lose and it's all downhill.

Devin: "It's a map of the world."
Ed: while taking time out from doing the puzzle: "Dude, I know!"
That had my laughing.

Emy is the one that I can’t tell if it’s a girl or a guy.

The excessive emotion makes me think it's a girl... but it's not 100% sure.

It appears so. Probably Cocomo.

I watched both episodes and I’m almost positive I had no ideas Big Brother Amber B was on the season until the 2nd episode. Maybe I wasn’t paying attention but don’t remember seeing her once in the first episode.

She wasn't there for the first episode.

are you sure you watched the episodes? she literally got brought in during the episode and it was made very obvious that she was a replacement

If anyone listened to John's new podcast reviewing this episode, they address why Amber B came in on the 2nd episode.
Apparently Lauren, Josh's first partner, was essentially Dee'd out of the show in the edit. That's why the viewers hadn't any clue who the hell she was or what was going on.
Speculation is that she said something "racist" to Aneesa and they kicked her off and cut her out of the show almost entirely. I highly doubt it was something that egregious considered how Dee was banned for life for basically nothing, but that's what happened.
Could be wrong, but remember who we're dealing with here. This is the same network/production company that basically had en entire lecture/therapy/evil whitey episode when Emily Schromm put mud on her face when she dressed up like Ty in jest for Halloween. The same guy who she had previously had a serious relationship with and was kind of having feelings for again. Also, the same Emily who was basically raised in a cult with no outside world knowledge.
They made her cry like a baby for the half the episode because they made her feel so bad. She literally had no idea why or how something like that could be so "offensive", but they didn't care, they lectured her like she was the spawn of Hitler.

I will definitely admit that I have been watching casually this year especially with not knowing a ton of the contestants. But didn’t realize amber was there.
Need Wes and bananas to really get me all in

I just finished watching the All-Stars season on Paramount+. I bumped the thread, but it literally died halfway through the season and my bump was for naught.

There needs to be some sort of penalty for finishing last in a daily challenge. A team of vets right now could just half arse it because they know they won't get thrown in.
