re: The challenge: Spies, lies, allies

Paulie reportedly failed the psych test administered before each season (although he says that's a lie), and I think certain cast members said they didn't feel safe around him.

Cara left the show when Paulie wasn't going to be on it.

I think it’s more difficult than it looks. You have to get a semi-running start timed with the bell moving in your direction all while exhausted.

I thought it was a good elimination

I know emerald has won a lot, but they aren’t that good. At least not on the men’s side. Josh and Devin are both meh. Emmanuel is legit good. But like we’ve said in here before, they are good because they have decent-to-good girls. But now with Nany and Amanda, the girls are just meh. Kaycee is the most legit threat after Emmanuel.

Tula wants to get in there and get dirty. Yeah, okay girl. Whatever you say.

Man, Tori seems more and more fake every week. Although she had some raw emotion during the challenge since she felt betrayed by her own team (Josh). And she should because she was.

Kyle is such an idiot. And I love it. And his teeth are so hilariously and stupidly white, it’s fantastic.

As annoying as Tori is though, she’s still fricking good. Kaycee is talking a lot of shite about her but she could beat Kaycee in an elimination. And Kaycee got low and got Tori the first time. But that second time it was a draw and Kaycee is the one that ended up on her back.

Logan actually looks taller than CT.

I love how Devin and Josh are mad because Tori wasn’t trying to help them win. Tori is 100% right here. And good for her for trying to win for the guys on her team.

Why does Josh keep saying he’s “this close” to the final? There are still like 7 guys left. At most I think there are 4 in the final. So he’s still a few challenges away at minimum.

I actually kinda like how cocky and confident Logan and Emmanuel are. It’s refreshing to have legit good rookies that made it far for a change. And also to have rookies that people are legit afraid of, which is why they’ve rarely (or never) seen the Lair.

Of course Josh sucks at having to be smart and time the jump correctly. God he sucks.

I can’t believe they missed as many times as they did. You have to either let it slow down enough to reach it or make sure you get your timing right and get it. Every time. The time it takes to miss and climb back up and do it again is worth saving so make sure you get it right each time.

Eliminations like this always make me wonder how I would’ve done because I’m short. Like I wonder if I’d be able to reach it at all since Kyle and Josh are relatively tall and we’re barely reaching them.

I love how mad CT is that he tried to get Kyle eliminated and not only did that not happen but now he’s back on his team.

I had to rewind it because it wasn't clear, but Tori looked like she had an orange sleeve or half-sleeve on her arm, and after the second collision it showed "Kaycee's cam" and that person was on her arse while the orange sleeve person was still sort of standing over her. So I concluded that it was Tori.

I can't stand when they edit shite poorly and you can't tell who got trucked. And they do it all the time too. I love the overhead cam with labeled players showing them running down before the collisions, but then they edit to a jumbled mess when the actual collisions happen.

Agreed. I like both of them. And neither one seems scared to go into elimination either. Which is likely a result of them being rookies and not fully understanding. But they are both like "If my name gets called, the other person is going home, so frick it."

I do think Logan is better than Emmanuel though. Emmanuel is pretty fast, but Logan just seems solid across all areas.

Josh will never win a Challenge. Ever. He doesn't have it in him. Physically, mentally, emotionally, etc.

But that should be VERY easy to do though. Very. If you have any sort of coordination at all, you can time a couple of steps and a jump to tough a swinging bell. And like I said last night, wait for it to stop if you have to, just to be safe. I figure it takes 12-15 seconds AT LEAST to jump, miss, climb back up, and be ready to jump again. So if you miss even just 6 or 7 times (which it seemed like they did), that's 1:30 to 2:00 of time that you've lost. And in an elimination like that where it's fairly easy and gonna be close, 2 minutes is a lifetime.

Has Josh ever won an elimination? He is certainly better than Danny and Tyrie but he is approaching them on elimination performances.

At this point, there are 7 players who haven’t gone in to an elimination, with only 12 players left. This is definitely more than usual.

This has been known since pretty much the day the episode aired though…

The first one, she absolutely trucked Tori. Was surprised MTV didn’t highlight it more because it was an impressive hit

It was smart. And while CT is fierce he is equally smart and will pick and chose his battles now. CT isn't trying to hurt himself or make any enemies.he already had a winning plan teaming up vs emerald.
