I’m paraphrasing but basically “ you just left your dads funeral and you’re already on this show trying to get camera time and attention. You’re a disgrace and hopefully the apple fell far from the tree.”

thought Tony had curbed his alcohol intake, but he was clearly drunk as shite when all of that went down.
According to Tony on Twitter, he has been on an alcohol restriction while filming ever since Rivals 3. He said it’s something they make cast members who have had serious altercations do. I’d be curious to know the different levels of restriction that they use.

Good for Cory for being so fricking stupid that he got himself sent home. What an idiot. It’s awesome to see that whole clique falling apart. And things literally couldn’t have gone better for John (which I guess could’ve been forced by the producers) with teams coming back and then the LL shite losing. Sylvia and Joss are in elimination and with the double vote John and company may be able to sway things now that Cory and Devin are gone. They just need to be on the same page and make sure that one of the LL teams goes in againat Joss and Sylvia.
And frick Sylvia. I absolutely hate how entitled she’s become and how much she thinks her shite doesn’t stink.
I like Devin and kinda feel bad for him. And I actually think John kinda felt bad for saying that shite to Devin about his dad. But as said on the last page, Devin kept poking and poking trying to get a reaction. And that’s what he got and it made him cry.
They need to do the trivia challenge with more teams left though. After like 5 or 6 questions there were only three teams left.
Also, I’m interested to see the final and see if the winner takes all the money. That surprisingly hasn’t been brought up much this season and we haven’t seen people make deals or discuss it with their teammates either. But I think if John and Tony win, whichever one of them wins outright will choose the money.

Do you really see any scenario where any of these people share the money. There is no way any of these people split the money with their partner
Posted on 10/24/18 at 11:36 am to lsu11
I think a few would, yeah. Hell, everyone else on the previous season shared the money (when John took it from Sarah).

I don't think any of those people had the option to either keep it all or split it

It doesn't work that way, right?
Everyone who isn't first is tied for last. So everyone will get a vote, the winners get two and immunity. If Joss/Sylvia get voted in, they get to pick from the people who voted for them.

I’m not sure if this is a spoiler or not so if you don’t want to read anything close scroll past.
****Spoiler?****
The money split will be done by the prisoners delimma so there’s a chance that no one wins the money this year.

I don't blame John for going low on Devin. I would have done the same thing. The expression on Devin's face when he saw the video and then him saying he lost a million dollars over some pasta was priceless. Its like he just then realized Cory is a fricking idiot.
I can see Joss and Sylvia winning everything. They are both decent at the challenges and tend to fly under the radar in the house. They don't get too involved in all the drama. John and Tony still have the numbers against them and all the TYB guys are stupid enough to mess something up along the way.

I feel like Joss and Sylvia are the next ones out of the main house. They’re terrible at everything.

That’s really odd because it didn’t seem like anyone else was even buzzed. Meanwhile Tony is slurring his words and acting like a goofy guy amused by throwing pasta out of the window. What kind of restriction is that?
Did I miss something about Sylvia and Joss? There wasn’t really any deliberation because the challenge happened so late in the episode. Obviously Paul and Natalie will throw in one of those teams, and Cara and John will vote with them, but that means that either Cara or John is guaranteed an elimination appearance.
Prisoners dilemma...that’s a very interesting twist. Better than the point system in Rivals 3, and yeah Devin and Vince had more points and immediately chose to share. Prisoners dilemma makes the player more paranoid. There are people who I would trust like Nelson, Joss, and Cara.
There are people who I wouldn’t trust in any scenario like Ashley M, John,Shane, and mostly Kam, and Kyle and there are people who I am uncertain of like Devin, Hunter, Marie, and Sylvia.
If Joss ends up carrying Sylvia, voting to share, and then losing a million dollars to Sylvia, wow.

I still think Bananas stepped over the line with his comments. A lot of them are antogizing each other constantly. You just don’t say that, and John could eviscerate Devin in an argument without bringing up Devin’s dad. Johnny is the only reason Devin exists on this show. Devin doesn’t even register on Johnny’s radar.
I’m still rooting for Bananas, but it’s mostly for Tony. Johnny is way more likeable in the underdog role though.
Any of that whole current 3 team alliance with Cara and Tony I’m fine with winning. Natalie kind of won me over in that last elimination.
Did I miss something? Do we know for sure they have to vote to split or steal in the end?

I would like to think people would choose to split the money with their partner, but I doubt that happens. Keep in mind the entire premise of the show is to backstab and be cutthroat, so its a bit unrealistic for fans to think the players will suddenly have a moral compass when faced with that decision.
Additionally its good for ratings when Bananas screws over a Sarah because every show needs a villain. MTV put in this rule because they know someone is gonna get screwed over which will give them a villain, and in turn, essentially guarantee ratings for season to come.

TJ said it for sure on the show but they only mentioned it briefly.
Bayou Cat Fan, the prisoner's dilemma totally changes it though because you have to rely on someone else and not just yourself. Unless you really have faith in your opponent (and this is not a setting like Bloodlines or a team challenge where there are actual friends), you have to be selfish. Otherwise you can hand your vendetta million bucks by being naive. In Rivals 3, it was more just being a dick.

Kind of sad Zach and Amanda are gone because you know he’d be choosing steal and would be happier with no money than splitting it with her.
Posted on 10/24/18 at 4:31 pm to DayBowBow
They would both think that way
Probably the team with the most animosity since Wes and Kenny in Rivals I that was actually good.

What is this prisoners dilemma I keep reading about? I don’t understand what y’all are talking about.

I am going to use Joss and Sylvia as examples. They are in no way spoilers.
Let’s say they win. TJ would then give them each a slip of paper and they would write either share or keep all the money.
If both write they want to share, they get 500K each.
If Joss votes to share and Sylvia votes to keep all the money, Sylvia keeps all the money.
If Sylvia votes to share and Joss votes to keep all the money, Joss gets a million bucks.
But if they both vote to keep all the money, then they walk away with nothing.
So the easy choice, if you are friends and trust one another would be to split the money. Like Wes and Nehemiah, Zach and Tony, essentially anyone with Sarah. But if you don’t trust your partner, being cooperative will hand your nemesis a million bucks.

Game theory about cooperation amongst two competing individuals.
It’s a pretty fascinating read, tbh.

a-hole move, but the smart thing to do is steal it.
You vote to steal and you either get 1mil or 0.
You vote to share and you either get 500k or 0.
I’m not ending up with 0 while my partner walks away with a mil.
