Considering the first one is one of my all time favorite movies, I thought this was going to be garbage and never watched it until now. Despite being a direct-to-dvd film with none of the original cast, it was "pretty good" as Eric Gordon would say. The main character and his girlfriend were decent enough actors. I recommend it to those who loved the premise of the first who may be hesitant to watch due to its direct-to-dvd nature.

Instead of journals, they use pictures to move through time.

You can watch in full here. LINK

Damn shame that she's never shown her post-op boobs

I kinda like the first one too.

Its cheesy in places, but it's also kinda intense.

Agreed. Not as bad as I thought it'd be.

Hells yes. I love movies dealing with going back in time and books like The Sound of Thunder. "The flap of a butterfly's wing can ultimately cause a typhon on the other side of the world". It's a very interesting theory. If I go down one path, my life will be completely different if I go down another.

My top 5 is decent enough: Edward Scissorhands, The Elephant Man, The Butterfly Effect, Blow, The Empire Strikes Back.

the first one could have been so much better if the lead actor had acting ability.

Ashton really surprised me with that performance. I think it's his best acting to date. When his crippled self tries to kill himself...

No Weird Science?
List is invalid.

I liked Weird Science as a kid but watching it recently was god awful. Of all the Hughes films, that holds up the worst.

I thought Kutcher did well, but I agree it could have been much better.

That's how I felt about In Time if you replace Kutcher with Timberlake.

You shut your whore mouth. Chet may have been the best character ever conceived.

I thought the first one was good but not great. I love the concept but I thought the actual movie was only average.

Never knew they made a 2nd or 3rd.
