y'all really are taking this to the extreme. All I wanted was for the readers in the group to be careful about framing a character that first-time viewers may not have come up with. Athos mentioned they gender-swapped the character and in the same sentence said the character was a psycopathic racist. That is confirming that the character is racist. If somebody would have just said "I think this character is racist and this is why" then by all means lets open discussion.

I haven't read the comics.
You're assuming that people, who are familiar with the popularity of the white supremacist group, couldn't put two and two together after she started throwing around racial slurs and killing minorities without impunity in her wake on top of it.
You need to get off your own shite that people couldn't figure that out because you couldn't.

Tired of derailing this thread that really went too far.
Loved the first 3 episodes. Thought stormfront was just going to be a side character and Homeland was going to destroy her phone and tell her "who's who."
Guy who plays Homeland is such a great actor and plays the part well. I for sure thought that kid was dead.

I think Starlight takes Stormfront down. as I said before. If for no other reason, a chick-fight

I just kind of get the feeling that they (Vaught and the Seven) are moving towards a breaking point. And that people will end up having to take sides. I wonder if its a bit of a red herring to assume they'll end up facing off. I can see them being absolute assholes together against the others.

Man, there are some real dumbfricks around that believe everything is racist. How is being called one color less or more racist than being called another color? That is asinine. My point is that naming different races by color was not racist. It was a system created to identify different groups from different continents. One of them was about Colors. I threw that on and thought it would be educational and maybe about art. They started talking about the Yellow Man, the Red Man, etc... I kinda wish I would have kept it just for laughs. Instead, I pitched the whole bunch.

Luckily the show runners have followed the spirit of the comics and some of the plot while at the same time making a good bit of changes to keep things interesting. So there is good chance with Butcher's wife being alive in the show that knowing what happened in the comics will mean nothing long term.
And most importantly, the changes they've made have worked pretty well so far, unlike say Altered Carbon.

Season 2 is the tits. My favorite scenes are whenever Homelander goes off on someone like in the blind guy scene. Laughed my arse off.
