Spoilers
My interpretation of the final scene: Boba's captor came back trying to take credit for killing the desert monster, but his boss knew he was FOS and figured Boba must have done it, hence giving him the water. What do y'all think?

I feel like that was pretty straight forward.

So are these desert folks anti-technology? Those water gourds are barely below the surface. Seems like there would be a fairly simple harvester machine that could dig them up instead of hand digging.

Who was eating whom in that Sarlacc pit? My man Boba came out 50lbs heavier.
Considering that Temura Morrison was huge in the last season of the Mandalorian, I think he easily trimmed off 40 pounds since we last saw him.

As for the folks like Luke's uncle- they're moisture farmers, and they seem to be selling that water. I don't think gourds would be enough.
Given that they found the gourds close to that homestead, maybe the gourds are present BECAUSE of the farmers (I remember Uncle Owen talking about "vaporators". If that's pulling water out of the air, you might see local condensation as it pulls water at the upper ground levels too. The gourds might trap that).

You’d think Boba Fett would want to lay low, seeing as he tried to kill Luke and his friends more than once and is closely linked to Vader and the empire. Instead he makes himself the very public crime lord on Luke’s home planet? Seems he’s asking for trouble.
And the Outer Rim was pretty lawless, even before the Empire fell. Jabba was part of the necessary power structure to keep things civil. Boba is simply stepping into that role now.
I think if confronted by Luke, Boba would say "just business, nothing personal", and explain he no longer has any business with Luke at this point. If you look at ROTJ, Luke in theory gave Jabba the chance to return Han, and would have walked away. He set up a scheme because he knew Jabba wouldn't, but Boba might (correctly) read things such that, if he offers Luke no aggression and doesn't go on a rampage, Luke would leave him be.
He's already suggested he isn't planning on running things through fear.

Man, given that Fett is doing well and will undoubtedly turn out well, it really hits home how disney and JJ Abrams did Han Solo dirty in the nu trilogy. I don't even think they are aware of how depressing it all was, narratively.

I don't think it was 'trying to take credit for' it seemed more like 'we killed it' although the little raider was more psyched about it. The head raider knew what really happened regardless
ETA: They came back with Boba having the chains off and without the Rodian

If my memory of the earlier movies is a little accurate, I think they were portrayed as an aboriginal people - kind of savage and primitive. They ride animals instead of vehicles. Obi Wan said they are "easily frightened" or something like that. They captured Anakin's mom leading him to slaughter a village of them. I'm pretty sure they do use firearms, but I don't think they make them themselves.

Seems to be a little rehabbing of the Sand People going on. They joined in helping to fight the Krayt Dragon in Mando, and Boba is going to walk away respecting them. Far different perspective than OT, or even PT impressions of them.

Do we already know why Boba Fett looks like a burn victim?

I thought it was from the acid inside the Sarlaac?

I don’t know.
It’s over his entire body. It’s more than just a sunburn.

Nah, but you would probably enjoy it.
Edit: after reading the thread it sounds like you wouldn’t enjoy it

I loved everything but the chase scene through the city. It felt like low budget parkour. But that is just me nitpicking. Everything else was fantastic.
