The best sequence/scene an individual director ever shot...?

In other words, if you could choose a particular scene one director ever shot and say that's the best stuff he ever did, which scene would you choose?
For example...Michael Bay's best scene, at least in my opinion, was the climax to The Rock when Goodspeed lights the green flares to ward off the F-18 missile strike.
YouTube
The music, acting, cinematography, and editing were all on point.

Cuaron has two in the same fricking movie. Which one is better is up to you (I like the later one a bit more):
Long take in the car
Long take in the city
Long take in the car
Long take in the city

This feels almost impossible. Need to look at directors who had fewer hit films because all the others have iconic scenes in every film they do.
But.
Robert Zemeckis w/ Back to the Future when Marty McFly skates away from Biff and his posse
ETA. NVM. Too difficult.

Damn..this one is tough...very tough. I can't name just one so I'll offer some of my favorites
Moses Parts the Sea: The Ten Commandments: Cecil B. DeMille
LINK
Opening Scene to Ordinal Star Wars (Now called Ep IV):
George Lucas
LINK
"What Does Marcellus Wallace Look Like?": Tarantino
LINK
Basic Training Sequence at Paris Island in Full Metal jacket: Stanley Kubrick
LINK
I could rattle off 20-30 easily

I’m trying to isolate what scene from what movie from The Coen Bros and Wes Anderson.
It’s proving difficult.

Docking scene in Interstellar is absolutely perfectly shot, scored, and performed. It’s perhaps one of my favorite scenes in film.
MM replying to “but it’s not possible,” with “no. It’s necessary,” gives me chills to this day.
Then Nolan dumped all over it 10 minutes later

Trying to remember the first time I saw it, The hotel shootout between Anton Chigur & Llewelyn Moss was so suspenseful

I was going to post this then I see you already posted it. You could make an argument for the Coens back in Raising Arizona with the showdown with the biker, but those seven minutes of cat and mouse with Chigur left quite the impression. Some of the best suspense in cinema history, really.

The Flight scene from Man of Steel for Zack Snyder. Anyone who says he has no joy or colors in his superhero movies is ignorant to reality. Everything about that scene is amazing. The cinematogaphy, the voiceover, Henry’s small mannerisms, the feeling of his first flight realizing what his destiny is after searching for it for 15 years.
But he didn’t make jokes every 30 seconds and have a bunch of colorful explosions so the soys got mad.
