I guess. Better than being racist and melting over the skin color of a reimagine fictional character

Im done with this. Im pumped about the movie. I really like almost all of the casting, especially JDM. Batman is my favorite comic book character/super hero and I dont know if the movie is going to be good or not, but I know im not going to be a miserable human or give one thought about Gordon being black as an issue. There's no way I could ever even sit down and enjoy having a beer with someone if they brought something like this up as being an issue. Thats a pretty good indication that they are an annoying as shite, miserable person. Woke culture is frustrating to me in quite a few ways and in quite a few movies and shows, this is so minor its certainly not one of them.

Imagine making a post, hitting “submit” and then realizing “oh man, I could have really gotten him had I said this…”, followed by a quick edit to get that sick burn in
You done with the thread hijack yet, Costanza?

Gordon being black affects the entire universe because his daughter is Batgirl. Dent being black isn’t as big of a deal

Sounds like you have a problem with an unconfirmed character named “batgirl” potentially being black

On the last page you said he was a background character. Now he's a prominent character. Got it.
Every character in a Batman movie who is not Batman, Robin, and the villain is a background character.
That doesn't mean they aren't prominent.

The racists here are the people who can't create interesting black characters so they appropriate white ones.
You had a similar melt when they introduced Isaiah Bradley in Cap & WS. It doesn't matter if they are new or refurbished, you just can't stand when they are black.

Good grief...could it be that white people watching shows relate more with white characters portrayed by white actors? Could it be that the constant barrage of obsession with black people being slighted in sports, news, politics and every corporate ad in february is a buzzkill and people dont wanna see it infused into their entertainment?

Nobody gives a frick if you think that they are a racist. It's clear that you don't have a clue what the definition of the word even is.

This thread is a microcosm of the new TD
Can’t even have a discussion of a movie without it being about race or politics. I can’t tell the right or left apart anymore. They both bring up the same bullshite

Sorry about real world issues the last several years interfering with your comic book movies. Maybe some of that anger should be directed at the gaslighters in Hollywood, but whatever.
There's a 30 something page thread on Boba Fett that seems pretty politics free, if that helps.

Because theyre both full of idiots that define themselves by what theyre against instead of focusing on reality.
No place is safe here anymore.
