The baseball sequence in The Naked Gun

Has to be one of the best 30 minute stretches in comedy. I caught it on one of the movie channels this morning, probably for the first time in 10 years. I don't think I stopped laughing. From Enrico Palazzo, to the strike three dance, the highlight reel with the tiger, to the umps in the rundown and Frank tossing Joe West out of the game... I think every joke landed.

Love how he calls the strike before the ball hits the catcher's mitt. Leslie Nielson was one of the all time comedic greats.

I want to watch the whole thing, but I'm thinking the first two acts are going to be underwhelming compared to the third. I was probably a kid the last time I saw it.

i lost when the commentators were watching old highlight clips before the game and the shortstop was attacked by a tiger while fielding a ground ball.

Its a much longer version of the camp fire scene from Blazing Saddles. Hilarious from start to finish and never a slow moment.
