That’s gonna be really interesting to see what happens there

Tatiana ambushing Oleg was freaking awesome.

Some shite is going down these last few episodes

This show is a tour de force in writing, acting, and all around production.

Paige's fight is going to come back to haunt them, someway.

Elizabeth has a body count that would make a serial killer proud. I think she's coming apart at the seams internally a lot more than she's letting on.

If you watched the preview of next week they showed at the end of the episode, what Aderholt said is very ominous.

Holy shite, I can't wait to see how it all plays out, but I'm hating the fact that it's all going to be over soon.

You can talk about already aired episodes. No future spoilers though

Last night was awesome. Can someone remind me what was Tatiana's mission that Oleg messed up?

And Philip has absolutely had enough of this shite when it comes to affecting children, his and others.

Her dad works for the CIA. Originally they thought he worked for the State Dept Phillip was working her to get in the house and left a recording device in her dads breifcase

She was working on the bio weapons, that virus that one dude stole. He told Stan. I think she let some details leak when they were sleeping together and he put 2 and 2 together

Her father is a high ranking CIA official. Phillip bugged his brief case and office. He would go over to the house and retrieve the tapes.

So what does it mean when y’all say he warned Kimmy? About what?

He told her not to travel over into Communist country while she was in Greece. In case, someone else from the Center tried to get her to go to a place where they could have her thrown in jail.

Anyone else listen to the Americans podcast? I just found it this season talks about each episode. Goes back to at least Season 3

Can you refresh my memory on why he told Stan? Was it related to Stan seeking to help with Nina?

Last night's episode was really strong. I had the exact same thought about the phone call. Philip has crossed the rubicon. His children and their future means more to him than Elizabeth.

It was interesting to see Philip's paternal instincts kick in with Kimmy. I think he completely meant what he said about how he was proud of the woman she was becoming as a senior at Michigan. Seeing her evolve from a bratty teen who lashes out at her dad for not being around enough and getting drunk and high all the time to someone who is ready to become an adult.

The sparring session between Philip and Paige was a great plot mover as well. Trying to show just how far Paige has to go to be even remotely safe.

Only 5 episodes left...I can't wait to see how it all ends. The only other drama I have enjoyed as much was Friday Night Lights, but you always knew things were going to turn out fine for Coach Taylor and most of his players.

It was Olegs conscience. He tells Stan something about they have great engineers and school like MIT but he was skeptical of the political leaders and whether the material casing was good enough or something like that

Here's the thing...

Oleg shows up, and now Mr. & Mrs. Teacup are dead. In their meeting at Oleg's hotel, he was very pissed at Stan and indicated he did not believe him when Stan told him he got the CIA to back off. You have to imagine that Stan is going to suspect Oleg is behind this.

So this is speculation for speculation sake I guess

Pretty sure Oleg was already in the US before they defected and wasn’t it Stan/The FBIs idea for them to defect and they kinda caught them off guard? Also Oleg wasn’t in ops and Stan knows that

Yeah, I don't think Stan is going to blame Oleg for this at all. The courier was a huge target for the Soviets, Oleg has never done a mission like this, and there's been a ton of surveillance. A 6'9" bearded dude would stick out.

However, I do think that they may get a composite drawing of Elizabeth in her disguise if the handlers have been highly aware of their surroundings. But ultimately, I don't think this is going to be the unraveling point.

Aderholt is gonna recognize it, since she handed him and Ganz their asses a few years ago.

Thanks.

I also JUST remembered that Aderholt was at dinner w/ the Jennings, Stan and Renee in the first episode this season. So, even if the arse kicking is not fresh on his mind, that meal might be.

I really want Elizabeth to get caught and Philip to find a way to just go on with his life as an American.
